Like how Marvel refuses to have Peter grow and have a family, leaving him as some bum trying to get by because they think that's what readers want to see, their favorite hero suffering all the time and never catching a break.

Marvel are very much OK with letting Peter grow up and be happy...in alternate universes, some of those universes have the same history as the original version to a certain point, so it's easier to let go of him in the 21st century.

The movies and recent video games have him either married, a father, dealing with his Aunt's death, or in a serious committed relationship. They speak far more to the consumer than a dying industry like comic books.

Is it the only one premiering on the 2nd? Otherwise I'm not sure their point in moving it two days, I don't see any other kid/family movies competing with it for the 4th.

Was never impressed enough with the Funko Pop figures to bother owning any. Maybe that Leo in that pose and facial expression will change that... but prob not.

So you guys know how some have said these Turtles look like lumpy clay, right? There's a new seemingly self aware claymation ad bumper on Nick (seen on Nicktoons late at night) that includes what I have to assume is MM Mikey.

Just some random human character having issues with his car and Mikey pops out for a peek at the end.

Sorry for the shoddy quality and mid-wonky blinking, only pic I managed to get real quick last night the second time I saw it and haven't seen again.

edit: I would laugh my ass off if a spin-off series turned out to be claymation and that was the reason for the aesthetic.

Nah, this short little thing is just a bumper.

Aka one of those little animated bits they used to put before (and after?) an commercial break, like those dinosaurs back in the day that they've recently tried to bring back slightly, back before they got lazy and turned most bumpers into just an obnoxious segment of show clips.

BUT! I did find it. (Okay it was a shoe-turned car... That part did not stick at that hour. Looks like it goes along with Nick's recent logo semi-redesign.)
