After accidentally stumbling upon it, I managed to find a scan of the NES Tournament Fighters here:

Has some unique art.

thank you very much for the scans! the design for bebop and rocksteady for the first tmnt is pretty peculiar. but i was sad that the dooney piece for manhattan project wasn't complete.
and additional thanks to enscripture for adding that final link, there's some cool stuff there, i recommend the ninja gaiden 2 manual, it's really neat.

Found some pages of the Gekikame Ninja Den manual whilst looking for the Game Boy Japanese manuals (scans or for purchase... have found neither and I'm not about to buy them complete just for the manuals)

Working on getting Japanese Tournament Fighters manual scanned as we speak.

I like how in the Ninja Turtles Manhattan Project Manual they give you a brief description of each level.

Also Rahzar's drawing looks hilarious.

When I played this game, the farthest I got was when I battled Tokka on the roof. He beat me every time.

Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the find and sharing, Ninji!

Something I stumbled upon a while back was the Japanese Sega Genesis/Mega Drive manuals for both Hyperstone Heist/Return of the Shredder and Tournament Fighters. It's got some great original artwork and sprites not seen in the actual game!

The cover artwork for both Sega games would make great posters!

I'd still like to see them, actually. Nice to have different image sources available. Too bad there wasn't more original artwork inside the Japanese manual though. They just made extensive reuse of sprites for the character page profiles.

I don't think I've ever seen full scans of the Japanese manuals for the SNES games or the NES version of Tournament Fighters.
