I don’t know anything about Joe Biden, but I recognise him from a great documentary called Bigger, Stronger, Faster. There is a segment where it touches on the ‘steroids in baseball’ controversy – cut to a clip of Joe Biden declaring that he’s angry “in his gut” at these athletes because they were the type of guys in high school who, in his words, would have taken him out; “not because they have more god given talent, but because they enhanced with artificial means”. Lol!

That cracked me up because aside from the tortured phrasing of “enhanced with artificial means”, I realised that in this guy’s little pea brain, he thought he was a better athlete than Mark Maguire and Barry Bonds, for the want of some anabolic steroids. So if he juiced his wrinkly old ass he’d be out there breaking home run records, rather than holding expensive congressional hearings about baseball during Gulf War II.

In his defense, Baseball has Congressional oversight for anti-trust reasons.
Blame the cheaters...I mean juicers for the meetings, not Congress.

Though considering some of the side-effects of using anabolic androgenic steroids, it's kind of great you used "pea-sized" as a point of comparison...

Holy crap really? That's interesting - you guys take that national pastime stuff pretty seriously. They did mentioned in the documentary that in that particular year, congress spent more time talking about baseball cheats than the war.

We're supposed to have laws and regulations in place to keep people from having a monopoly. Since Major League Baseball is the only major league baseball in the country, they have government oversight.

I think the same situation is in place for the NFL and hockey.

And no, testicles don't regain their size after steroid abuse. All of those morphological changes are pretty much permanent.

Dunno about that - I think they do for the most part, depending on factors like age, health, and the period of use. I'm not a doctor however - just closely related to one.
