To be honest I had suspected that this situation would occur for quite a while now simply because of the Annual being in between the old and new eras of the comic, but it is reassuring that the production team are fixing the error so swiftly.

Also if my estimations are correct this year's Annual should be at the start of Volume 16, but that's most likely two years away as it seems more and more likely that the winter release slots will be the paperback editions of the previous volumes going forward.

FANTASTIC!
But, why is it going to be released so far away in the future?!

It's to prevent them from catching up to the current issues too quickly. Each volume collects about 16/17 regular issues worth of content which on balance is one year's worth of the ongoing and one miniseries, but we also don't currently know if anymore miniseries are planned at the moment so it helps to space out the hardback releases to accommodate the pacing of regular issue releases too.

They've even updated the Amazon listing to include the Annual! (The pre-order's finally up, BTW.)

Same with both the PRH listing and the Amazon UK listing: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/16840586...7104507&sr=8-4

So now that we have a rough idea of the rest of this year's upcoming issues, I've been working out how the next couple of hardbacks should pan out and this is what I've come up with:

Volume 15: (Karai cover) Jennika II 1-3, #113 - #117, Jennika II 4-6, #118 - #124

Volume 16: (Baxter cover) Annual 2021, #125 - #130, FCBD 2022, AGOM 1-2, #131 - 132, Annual 2022

Volume 17: (Rat King cover) AG 1-8, #133 - #139, AGA 1- 5

The Trial of Krang is one of the series peaks.

Do you think that there is any chance of having volume 15 released in 2022?

We would have heard something about it. In regards to issues release there wasn’t much difference in quantity between that of 14 and 15.

The IDW Collections are now following a release pattern of new HB volumes in summer (May-Aug) and TPB volumes in winter (Nov-Feb) - the TPB of Volume 2 has been confirmed for this November and Volume 15 will most likely release in summer 2023.

Volume 15 will in theory include #113 - #124 and the second Jennika mini-series.

Volume 16 should then have #125 - 135/6, 2021+2022 Annuals, 2022 FCBD and the Opening Moves 2-parter coming this June/July.

Small teasy update:
Sophie has previewed the cover art for Volume 15 on her Patreon.
Out of respect I won't post it here until either Sophie puts it up on Twitter or the solicitation is put out by Penguin but I can confirm the character is....
Spoiler:
KARAI
and spine will be red.

The volume as expected will cover #113-#124 and Jennika II.

Volume 14 has arrived today and I can confirm that the 2020 Annual and the Jennika back-ups are all included; the annual is between 101 and 102 and the back-ups are all at the end of their respective individual issues. The Jennika miniseries itself is between 105 and 106 as expected.

The spine is little bit paler than the previews indicated and the bookmark ribbon is silver.

So what didn't they collect? I know that 20/20 alternate reality issue wasn't collected. And of course The Last Ronin has its own hardcover as it's not in this continuity. Same with the Batman and Power Ranger crossovers.

Also not included in the complete collections are the crossover with the X-Files and the infestation crossover event. Both of which are soft continuity in the sense that they could fit in but don’t have to.

There is also the deviations issue.

Basically anything that is part of a bigger event isn’t included or separate. And of course 20/20 would be hard to do unless there is a timeskip.

The first post in this thread has a full list of what is not included with the exception of The Last Ronin which is its own separate entity but also produced by IDW.
