Oh, yeah. But according to you guys I'm apparently a pedo because I like cartoons like TMNT, and therefore I must be a 'child diddler'. I wish I could say I was exaggerating, but I've seen many, especially on the right, weaponize my hobbies, and use them as 'proof' that I am a degenerate that must be eliminated. Just recently it happened with regards to saying I liked Batman: The Animated Series, lol.

I tended to go to niche subs, like for specific shows. Sometimes the politics would seep in, especially if it's something that got wokefied. I branched out to other subs, and I'd get some pretty nasty stuff said to me. I tended to avoid the likes of /r/politics and /r/news, and yet...

I feel like most of the internet's become a hive of angry people shouting at each other over their politics...and maybe real life to a degree as well.
