Does anyone think the mutants look like fruit snacks like Gummi bears or something? I just want to eat them like Gummi bears, hopefully they make some fruit snacks since they are already making cereal.

Actually, this aligns well with the previous storyboard leak, in which Leo had some awkward lines about "being with" April.

The way I'd put the aesthetic of the movie would be "if an action figure world came to life." See also, "fundamentally flawed."

I mean in 2012 Don having a crush on April was fine since they were both teenagers and the same age.

In this April is a middle age school teacher while Leo is a teen and portrayed younger than ever. Now it's like pedophilia. Did nobody think of this when they made this April a fat black woman?

You never noticed any attractive young adults as a teen? (Opinions of this April beside the point.) Older kids do that. Nothing pedo about it if it's ONLY one sided on the side of the youth, and never the adult.

Though it's only letters... they could be anyone. We assume the "L" would be Leo, and more likely is, but we aren't gonna know for a while. They could also just be screwing with us and it turns out to mean nothing.

Trust me, no young teen would ever get a crush on an overweight middle age ugly looking woman like this April. If she was slim and fit it would be understandable but no teenage boy is going to get a crush on a chubby woman like this.

“April” is just the middling disguise for Cherubae, who is very much an intergalactic babe, but chooses to hide her true identity just like her Archie TMNTA counterpart did via Mary Bones. This will pay off in the inevitable sequel tease.

You forget we're in the middle of this crazy fat acceptance movement. Wouldn't surprise me if they used some sort of 'fat is beautiful' angle with this. See kids, don't be fatphobic, go for that whale, just like your hero Leo does.

I think the other issue is they're taking established characters with personalities like Leatherhead, Bebop, Rocksteady, Mondo Gecko, Man Ray, etc...and apparently just using them as mindless mutants or something? None of them seem like they'll have any real backstory or personality.
