I like how it claims it comes with an original comic. You guys just have a secret warehouse full of original prints you've been sitting on just for this?
I assume it's a reprint but maybe they wanna be a little more specific there?

Is it a fac-simile of the 1st print?
Meaning it is magazine size and there is no other difference than a little "fac-simile" in the inside cover. This would rock. |

IDW responded to someone's question about the comic in the comments saying "it is a reprint of Mirage #1 in a standard comic format." so I think that means it's going to be regular sized.

What I can't get over is everyone bitching about the lack of stretch goals. Is that really something to get so upset about for a game of Munchkin?
I've never played, but I backed it anyway. If it's TMNT, I'll give it a try.

Can someone explain why they keep using Kickstarter?
Surely IDW and Nick have enough cash to just make this game and sell it. Is it more of seeing if there’s an interest before producing?

Today they just announced a vote for who backers would like as an exclusive character in the game! That's something you can only get through the Kickstarter experience... If you're a backer you can vote in the comments section here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects.../posts/2134882 I imagine whoever wins, Kevin will whip up some awesome art and they'll develop it into the game as we speak! I hope we get someone a little deeper in the Turtle pockets, a character you don't see too often!

Lol I thought about Cudley, but went with Cryin' Hound as I'd really love to see Eastman's take on him. Oh, also voted Leatherhead and Renet cuz they both truly deserve to be there.

Pepperoni revealed as a surprising new hero, and this is not the ones the backers are voting on! I'm sure Sophie is proud.

Well the results of the character vote are in and the winner is... SLASH! Must say I'm a tad disappointed to have another turtle on the roster but I still love the big guy. Interesting that they mentioned Usagi being a runner-up when they clearly stated you couldn't vote for crossover characters... They also revealed "The Stranger" as yet another hero, this being Splinter in his weird costume from issue #21... uhh okay? I would have much preferred just a regular Splinter as a hero but I guess he's already repped on an ally card?? I don't know, seems like a pretty bizarre choice. This is why I'd prefer people would have voted for lesser known characters to play as. Guaranteed Slash was already a done deal going into the campaign.
Ah well. |

Quite impressive piece of news!
I'm really glad of it. It brings something special to the game. I'm curious if the deal with Stan Sakaï really was done over the weekend though... |

So getting in at the 30 dollar level nets me the Usagi card? What about those card boxes.

You have to add $15 to your pledge to get the boxes I believe, but that can still be done after the campaign is over as long as you've at least pledged for the game (that includes Usagi).
