TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan Remake

Merso X (Rescue-Palooza!) is trying to make a remake or remaster of Fall of the Foot clan. For now he's only trying to find a name for it that is not "remake" or "re-shelled".

Fall of the Foot clan DX?
I would prefer a Radical Rescue remake though.

Wouldn't that be a very short game remake? How are the 3 game boy TMNT games? I've never played any of them. I'll take anything by Merso X

I think a short, free project is the sort of thing he's going for, perhaps in-between his next original IP game.

I enjoy all the TMNT GameBoy games. I think the first one probably has the most "pick up and play appeal," but the third one is the best of the bunch (though it will require some trial and error to master). The 2nd one is like an expanded concept of the 1st game, although I don't find it quite as fun overall. Good sprite-work on the villains though.

That was the supposed title of the rumored GBC port/upgrade from eons ago.

Rumored from press/magazines or rumored from "my uncle works for Nintendo" school yard talk?

Definitely from Uncle that works from Nintendo, by the time the GBC came out in Oct 1998 not only was the FW long dead, the Next Mutation had already been cancelled as well, TMNT was a dead property at the time.

Nah it was Tips & Tricks, I think. There was a number of Nintendo and third party games that were said to have supposed to get "DX" titles like Metroid II and at least one Castlevania but I don't even know if they were supposed to really happen.

Majesco republished TMNT IV and TF for Genesis in like 98 and Konami did do the same with the GB games at the time, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. Granted, it was just the same game with no enhancements, but it's still something. 98-99 was also when Playmates did one last action figure re-release before going dormant again until 2003.
