Earthquake drill on asteroid
I just thought of something: Could the earthquake drill used in Return of the Technodrome be powerful enough to free the Technodrome from the asteroid in Dimension-X? Would it make situation better or worse?

The Technodrome was never full-powered when on the Volcanic Asteroid, except for My Brother, the Bad Guy. If it was, it would just used the ordinary drills. The seismic drill would probably make everything worse.

I wondered because I thought the seismic drill would trigger an eruption.

The eruption still wouldn't have been strong enough. If they had just done that in The Dimension X Story, it would have had the same effect as when the good guys moved the explosives.
Edit: here's another thought. In "My Brother, The Bad Guy", the magnet initially lodged the Technodrome even deeper. But maybe the drill was lodged in the lava too and therefore unable to move or do much good other than make the wheels sink deeper as well. Last edited by cammy85; 08-04-2021 at 08:41 AM. |

I view the Technodrome being stuck in Dimension-X as an engineering problem. How do you get something that big free from hardened lava? (I'm not an engineer myself but do I like technology and science.)
Shredder and Krang tried different things with no success until they used the magnet. That took alot of power. |

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought of elementary school students having an earthquake drill on an asteroid.
