So, I just stumbled into this thread and have thoroughly enjoyed reading though it. Lots of good info and laughs.

OP, did you ever get hold of Paige? I'd very much be interested in hearing her thoughts on her role, the movie, how/if the role has followed her around since then, etc.

As to the superior April--I loved both, both as a kid and now. Paige was definitely perkier and a little more vivacious, and I think she did a great job.

No. Good writing, character development, and execution is what makes the film "not suck." TMNT III is gold.

So in my job I am a newly minted department head. Covid has forced two in my department to be reassigned. A creative way of showing appreciation was using Cameo. So I took the opportunity to see what Turtles related actresses and actors are on there. Both April actresses are on there as well as Renae Jacobs. Paige is more affordable than Judith, $50 and $150 respectively. They both highlight playing April in their bios.

Her voice sounds raspy. Of course vocals can change as one ages and I only know her for her two turns as April O'Neil all that time ago.

Still 3 April actresses are on Cameo. I thought I would let fans know especially since Paige seems reserved about her playing April O'Neil, but the Cameo is fullying embracing it and seems enjoying fan interaction natural and goofing.

I imagine that when seeking work as a serious actress having Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies on your resume gets a mixed reception particularly as she didn't star in the one actual good one. For something like cameo though I'm sure she knows that a lot of fans that liked her as April will be ones willing to pay to hear her speak.
