And 300 sequel was better than it had any right to be it was really good actualy...

Well it was that or him and his brothers get turned into pizza zombies, he didn't have much of a choice.

I hate to say it but I found this episode embarrassingly bad. The show can appeal to younger audiences without being that goofy. No disrespect to anyone who liked it. I enjoy goofy stuff but IMO this episode just layered it on way too thick so seemed to lack substance. I think I've just come to expect a lot from the show as I've quite consistently been pleasantly surprised by the quality of most episodes. For example, when I saw promos for 'Mikey gets shellacne' I thought it would be lame filler, but instead we got some decent core villain appearances and the introduction of Rahzar. Upon hearing about this episode I assumed it would be lame filler and in spite of a few laughs, it was.

Well Mikey ate part of a cat with Ice Cream Kitty (by licking and slurping it), so it's not like Mikey is above eating mutated animals even when they are currently alive.

As far as filler episodes go I really enjoyed this one. It was light and with some great homage to old school zombie flicks.I know that it proably didnt have the substance and characterization that everyone wanted but it was fun, and sometimes thats just what you need IMO.

I enjoyed this episode for what it is. It was really fun, and seeing Michelangelo fight with his flashy style is always great.

I assume this episode is also a nod to the obscure pizza face toy made for the 1980's series, but he never was in any tmnt episode, until now that is.

Wonder how many new characters/mutants this potentially opens up (even if the episode was or wasn't a dream)?

On what logic does this mutagen work? Sometimes it's the last thing that you touch, sometimes it's the last person that you touch and sometimes you don't have to touch anything...

I honestly didn't really hate nor love this episode. I thought Parasitica and Mazes and Mutants were worse and thought Pizzaface was actually an interesting character. I wonder if he will get a figure and how it would be executed if they do.

You assume? The shows writers were blatantly aware of the Pizzaface toy from the 80's they just totally redesigned him. You think its a coincidence that they named a character, "pizzaface" in this show?

That's like saying the name Chrome Dome was a coincidence for the robot Bradford armor, when they knew it was the name of a robot character hence them using it.

I rarely hate an episode, but I've got to say, I completely loathe this one, along with the episode where April finds out she's a mutant (forgot its name).
Here are the only parts I liked:
1. Mikey accidentally taking a picture of his eyeball
2. Pretending to be a zombie
3. Interrogating the pizza
4. Fighting over himself on whether or not to eat the pizza.
5. Singing "Kitty, kitty, kitty" with ICK
6. Chanting "Go ninja, go ninja, go." I like that it's a recurring thing he does.
7. The reappearance of the duct-taped teddy Leatherhead tore up.
Everything else sucked. Leonardo had a different voice actor this episode and it really bothers me when shows do that and so it took my focus away from the story (even though the VA was fairly good). Then the plot was extremely stupid. Why would Antonio eat the mutagen and then why would he eat humans? There could have been a more logical way to mutate him if the writers had tried with this episode.
Mikey was pretty funny in this episode, but I'd love to see him in a more serious episode. Mikey needs to be more than a joke character, even though he is often extremely funny, but is probably the least developed turtle. But I disagree with people who say he brings nothing to the team. Here's why he's important:
1. He is the most compassionate turtle and likes to help people.
2. Got Leatherhead to side with the turtles
3. Very energetic
4. Never gives up
5. He cheers his brothers up
6. Has saved his brothers in both Pizza Face and Parasitica
7. He's also very trusting, but that is sometimes a bad quality for him.
8. Sometimes he distracts the villains while his brothers sneak up on them
9. Is a pretty strong fighter.
10. He can do things on his own, as shown in most of the Mikey-centric episodes.
11. In Rise of the Turtles, he was the one that found the first pizza the turtles ever ate. ...Come on, you gotta give me that one!

I hope the replacement for Jason Biggs is only temporary, which it probably is. I'm hoping the next episodes get back on the plot and focus on already introduced characters. Michelangelo's character has strayed from how he is in season 1. I think season 1 Mikey is a more useful, serious character but in season 2 he's become a jokey character.
Just a plain stupid, gross episode. But I managed to find little parts that were enjoyable.
I really enjoyed the end when they found out it was a dream. It probably really happened but I'm going to convince myself this all happened in Mikey's head. It did seem like a dream, the strange and illogical things that happened.
What I would really, really enjoy seeing is the pizza delivery kid deciding he's tired of being kidnapped/controlled by mutants and starts taking martial arts classes, with his name later revealed to be Keno. It's a long shot but I hope it happens someday.

What I found weird is if Antonio was mutated during the mutagen rain. Then why wasn't this episode put in earlier. I mean, the Turtles habitually eat Antonio's pizza. And in wormquake Mikey says "Aw yeah...Antonio's".

I don't understand the hate this episode is getting. Its almost as if everyone has lost their sense of humor. It was consistently funny and reminded me of the more wacky Teen Titans episodes that focused on Beast Boy, which makes sense as Greg Cripes voiced BB and Ciro Nieli worked on Teen Titans.

Why do you guys accept the more wacky Teen Titans episodes but not on TMNT?

I don't get it either, all "Charachter development" episodes are the same and they forget what they learn by the next episode so what's the point? I wan't them to make more episodes like this, embrase the wierd...
