It was, but it sounds like it was an anti missile defence system that missed its target and went into Poland. Ukraine's ultimate fault, but if there weren't Russian missiles heading to targets in Ukraine, it wouldn't have been fired so...

As you're living in Russia I by far take your word over his... but I'd love to hear what you really think about this. What do you think happened? You think Russia did send a missile way over there? And if so, how and why?

I have no skin in the game and just am observing objectively. Because it SEEMS like this was a ploy to bring in WW-type support by the Ukrainians. Now, whether this was approved from the top or some goons decided "maybe this will help," I have no idea. Or maybe I'm way off.

Who fired in that scenario? The Russians or the Ukrainians? Considering it happened near the Lviv region, I would've expected a missile fired from Belarus but anything's possible.

WW3, yes, but me as an outsider could imagine at least factions in Ukraine thinking about manufacturing a micro Pearl Harbor incident to rally more substantial pressure from other nations against Russia to stop the invasion. The hope wouldn't be WW3, of course. The hope would be Russia would be more inclined to take its meager wins and leave in light of a Russian-staged Poland "oopsie."

Even if such an incident were to occur, whether organically or fabricated, there's no guarantee the US/NATO wouldn't just downplay and/or try to cover it up to avoid a catastrophic escalation. Heck, there's even a not-insignificant chance that's what happened the other day in Poland.

I could just as easily believe that Ukraine staged a psy-op with the rocket into Poland to cultivate support as I could that Russia did it as agent-provocateur's per Putin's M.O. - the same as ordering fighters to fly over Alaska on purpose and then fly away.
