That might be a cache thing where you actually close out the browser from your phon and then come back to it

That happens to me too when I use an iphone. I thought I was the only one before I saw this post.

I'm not sure how to fix this on the iphone but it still works right on my PC.

I have to use Duck Duck Go to get the desired background. Every other browser is locked on white/mobile. Which is awful.

Dark background stays put for me. (Samsung phone using Chrome.)

I think the only time it was defaulting to the white was before I finally remembered to hit the box to keep me logged on.
