I recently found these. These NEED to become real. Even if not based on the Keaton car. Just in general.

Batman has already met Scooby Doo in different versions...give us the MysteryMobile, BatMachine and Ecto-Bat.

The DuckMobile is amazing. It’d be perfect for an opposite universe where Penguin is the good guy.

Awesome. That suit is gorgeous, but I wonder if they'll give him a neck-swivel.
Fakest looking blood I've ever seen, btw.

What's important to note is they're aiming for a Watchmen homage there...could mean they're blending elements of Flashpoint and "The Button"...maybe setting up a surprise Doctor Manhattan cameo?

I can't abide that the first-ever Flash movie is coming out and yet 87% of the chatter is about Batman(s), 12.6% is about reboots, and then you've got like .4% of the conversation being "Oh, yeah, The Flash is in it, too, I guess, maybe... but I totally don't care about that, I just want Batman(s)."

Somewhere in there is a lesson about what a sh*t company WB is but I cant articulate it at the moment.

What else is new?

Batman is the most popular WB / DC character for a reason.

I liked Batman a hell of a lot more before somewhere around 20 years ago WB started telling everyone he's the only DC character we're even supposed to care about at all.

Marketing is weird like that. To some degree, it's reacting to your audience. But take it from me and my decade-plus experience in the wrestling business; a lot of what becomes "popular" is social programming, "People will like what we TELL them to like" kind of stuff, and the trick is in making it FEEL like they're choosing for themselves and not being force-fed something.

If it's REALLY off-putting, people might reject it. But at the same, time, the Transformers movies aren't "popular" because they're good, for example, people paid to see them because on some level they were told they were "supposed" to do that and people like being part of a group, either literally or culturally.

The Batman thing is a complicated cycle. Batman IS popular; in turn, WB gives people nothing but Batman in all their media - ONLY Batman toys, ONLY Batman video games, ONLY Batman movies, ONLY Batman TV shows, etc. (barring more recent exceptions this has been the status quo for the last 20+ years). Even the most popular DC toy line in history, "DC Universe Classics", initially BEGAN as a Batman-only line and they just revamped it into a catch-all DC line. But again, people see nothing but Batman, they assume only Batman is "cool", only Batman "matters". In turn, they're less inclined to pursue or become interested in other characters because "They don't matter; if they did, they'd be as popular as Batman! I see Batman everywhere, I never see _____."

But in turn a lot of that is because of WB only focusing on One Thing at the expense of anything else; hypothetically, a Flash movie (a real one, not this fan-wank Multiverse bullsh*t) COULD make a ton of money, but we'll never know because WB won't make a move in any media - movies, toys, video games or otherwise - without keeping a Bat-shaped life preserver on it to make sure it floats.

Like yes, obviously they lead with their most profitable player. But they also don't leave much room for anyone else to even get a swing at the bat (no pun intended). So it becomes that self-fulfilling prophecy.

"Batman sells; let's give them nothing but Batman, everywhere, all the time."
"How about This Guy? Maybe we should give them This Guy, too?"
"Nah, people only care about Batman. You can tell, that's all they buy."
"That's also all we ever give them..."
"..................What's your point?"

Honestly had the TMNT franchise never existed, as in, if Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird never got together in 1983 to create the Turtles...I'd probably be a hardcore Batman fan right now posting on a Batman forum for 20+ years.

The 1989 Batman movie came out when I was 4, and then Batman: TAS came out in 1992...so I was just in the right age range as a kid to become a hardcore Batman fan. Of course I did...but I never got into comics or anything because TMNT was my #1 franchise and I didn't have time to invest in two big things at the same time. Besides that of course I was a kid in the 90's...so I only ever got whatever my parents bought for me because of course I had no money of my own back then.

So I just stuck with cartoons and movies, and a few shows, because that's all I had available to me.

Meh.

Seeing that just really drives home how bad an idea it is to remove or downplay the red elements; having the suit predominantly blue without even the red boots just makes it look like she's wearing footsie pajamas.

Also, hello once again "It's Modern Times So All Strong Female Characters Need A Lesbian Haircut"-haircut. Haven't seen YOU in about five minutes.

Meh.

When was supergirl announced for this? So a DCEU Supergirl? Or is it an alt universe supergirl? CW Flash appearing is pretty cool.

Ironically the haircut is kinda accurate to the Cir-El version of Supergirl. Unless she is playing an alt earth Kara who knows

Keaton grew his hair back? He's been bald for like a decade.
