I'm Hairball; thanks for having me here. I found this place while looking for some good cartoon discussion outside of the internet's Most Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy, and you guys seem pretty nice.

I grew up with the 4Kids series - mostly the earlier stuff (in fact I'm not really sure I got very far beyond the Turtles in Space arc OTL) - but then for some reason I just stopped watching. Recently, though, one of the blogs I follow on Tumblr has been posting a lot of stuff related to the Nick series and it kinda renewed my interest in the turtles.

So, to reiterate, hello and thanks for having me.

Welcome, I grew up watching the original Fred Wolf series but what I've seen of the 4kids series I've really enjoyed. I just wish it wasn't so damn difficult to find the DVDs! Anyway, there's alot of great information here with many knowledgeable people about the Heroes in a half shell.

Hey, HairballCT, welcome to the Drome. I grew up with the Fred Wolf toon, but I really enjoyed the 4Kids series up to the Ninja Tribunal season and after that, I hated it. I also really love the Nick series so it's nice to hear that the Nick series has rekindled your interest in the Turtles. Who's your favorite Turtle?
