Heh, if Amazon doesn't do a statue (or one I'd want) that Target one is kinda cool. :D Love that lunch box, but paying for an extra copy of the first film that I don't need...bleh.

To be fair, unless the title of the other thread is changed and new sets are added to the first post, a thread saying a blu-ray set is announced is not the same or as informative for someone looking for info as one stating " BD/DVD Release Dates & Exclusives".

Thanks, I feel it is indeed more informative like this.
The thread I made for the 2014 movie really helped me find all the exclusives.
I hope others found it helpfull as well, and that this thread will become just like it.

Several Australian websites have changed the release date from September 22nd to 15th.

I also read that the movie can be pre-ordered on the Playstation Store in the US, and something about a PS3 and PS4 background.
Anyone know what the background looks like, or if it's available in the EU?

Lots of sites use Dec 31st as a temp. release date, so Sept 9th sounds more likely.

The Nascar TMNT race is in September, so the release could be around that, who knows.

The TMNT 400 is on September 18 Sunday, So the movie could either be release on the week of that.

Target, why you lie to me.

Unless that's still the date they box up the pre-orders. (Never mind I guess... their date went back to "coming soon." >.>)

I just hope extras include Turtles, not just cut stuff of those that play boring old humans.

Chaotix12345

Awesome to see that Bop and Rock are on the cover (They definitely deserve it since they pretty much steal the show) and that Deleted SCENES are mentioned in the extras, meaning we're probably getting more than a single lost scene like on the first movie's release. (Not getting that Raph in Disguise scene they shot as a deleted scene in the extras was easily the most disappointing thing about the 2014 film's Blu-ray for me.)

Though, weird that they're STILL shilling those reversible Turtle masks. I SERIOUSLY hope they package them INSIDE of the cases this time, because those mutant slipcases that they came in for the first movie were beyond obnoxious. Also, with my Raph/Mikey mask from the original 2014 Blu-ray release, from when I saw OOTS in theaters (They were giving them out with tickets), and from THIS, I almost have enough red masks to build a full Mirage team.

Looks like it, one month is not so bad actually. :)

Example: the 2014 movie was released on DVD/Blu-ray in December in the US. It was released over here in The Netherlands at the end of February!
Even though the movie was in theaters in August in both countries.

The 'Character Cards' edition will also come out in Korea (October 14).

http://novamnm.com/web/product/big/201608/487_shop2_195204.jpeg

The Korean websites also included the running times for the extras on all versions:

- We Are Family (8 : 13)
- Whoa! Expanding the Turtleverse (14 : 17)
- House Party (6 : 16)
- It's Tricky: Inside the Van (4 : 06)
- ILM – The Effects Beneath the Shell (3 : 21)
- Did You Catch That? Turtle Eggs! (3 : 00)
- Promotion (2 : 55)
- Career Opportunities (1 : 09)
- Kiss Me (0 : 54)

Not sure if the last three extras are correct as no other website (in other countries) has listed these.

Those last three might be the Deleted Scenes, as they don't seem long enough to be full features on their own, the titles are pretty "scene-y" and the Deleted Scenes previously mentioned aren't listed otherwise.

The Kiss Me might be that scene that was shown in one of the TV Spots, It was Casey and April at the Police Station, and Casey tried to get April to kiss him to cause some sort of distraction.

Haven't watched any features yet, but just watched the movie in HD and stunning sound.. Very loud (fortunately no neighbors complained).
I totally missed the film as its worldwide release schedule and my world tour were always at odds.
Anyway, what can I say? I thought it was great. It was a big , fun filled action adventure that didn't come up for air. Just what I wanted to see.

The color is more overly saturated than the first. It gives the film a really rich look that I liked. And I've already said that I watched this loud !! The digital sound had me flicking my head around the room a lot. The audio is super sharp and the nuances in the sound mix really resonate.

I'm not one for long winded revues, so I'll dum up.
Loved the movie, it had a sumptuous look and the sound was awesome.

Review of the Blu-ray: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Out-of-the-Shadows-Blu-ray/145453/#Review

This confirms that 'Promotion', 'Career Opportunities' and 'Kiss Me' are indeed the deleted scenes.

- We Are Family: A closer look at the human actors who portray the turtles, including their real-life camaraderie. It also examines the relationship between the turtles as it's explored in the film. Also, core character qualities for each of the turtles and individual human performances are studied.

- Whoa! Expanding the Turtleverse: This piece looks at what happened in the last film and what's transpired since. It focuses on returning characters and new introductions, including Casey Jones, Chief Vincent, Baxter Stockman, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang.

- House Party: A peek inside the turtles' lair.

- It's Tricky: Inside the Van: A quick tour of the turtles' new vehicle.

- ILM -- The Effets Beneath the Shell: A collection visual effects progression clips.

- Did You Catch That? Turtle Eggs!: A few of the movie's little secrets revealed.

- Deleted Scenes: Promotion (2:56), Career Opportunities (1:10), and Kiss Me (0:54).

Because who ever in charge of this is apparently cluless about what people actually want. I mean, dear god, why would TMNT enthusiasts want additional unseen footage of the Turtles.

If these people were involved in the Justine Beiber, Michael Jackson (post-death), or any other star's movie/documentary DVD/Blu-ray, they'd include lots of behind the scenes stuff...literally all the technical stuff behind the scenes, not anything of the star.

To be fair I guess I'm jumping the gun before actually knowing, but after they hardly bothered last time I don't have much hope for these extras.

With something like OotS, it's a bit of a conundrum. Do they throw good money after bad, hoping the sales of a quality blu ray with features will mitigate the rather staggering losses on the movie so far? Do they put out only the basics (i.e., no additional money into elaborate special features) and risk no more losses?

TigerClaw

Paramount is notorious for holding back on special features, and then releasing a Special Edition a couple of months later, They done it with the Star Trek movies.

So I take it that this is a habit of theirs to be stingy on the extras?

A special edition with more at a later date isn't fair... :ohwell: Way to try the cheapskate route of getting people to buy something twice. Releasing a stand-alone disc of unseen extras needs to become a thing. I'd gladly buy something like that if it was good, but I don't need redundant copies of movies.

You know, back when the Warcraft movie was upcoming, even the cable 'on demand' alone had all these videos listed that were profiles on individual characters. How nice it would be if the Turtles got that treatment, I wish they had people who wanted and were willing to go all out for them.

So the extras are pretty crappy. The deleted scenes are all stuff that really no one is itching to see and that featurette on the lair is another indication of how wrong their thought process was for these movies. The turtles and Splinter are a family and there is a charming idea that as improbable as it is they are somewhat domesticated in the sewer lair but neither of the Platinum Dunes lairs convey anything like a family domicile but more a huge teenage club house/super hero head quarters. Even the 'personal' touches we're shown in the featurette don't make much sense since we never see them in the movie. Sure, I can understand a big budget Hollywood movie wanting to do big sets but what is the point if we hardly see any of it. Other than that scene with the water slide (which in itself was needless) the only part of the lair they needed to build was the area with all the computer screens since that's pretty much all we see in the movie.

Look at us we got the most expensive, best full motion capture cgi with facial recognition but we can't afford to use it a lot.

Look at us we built these huge expensive heavily detailed sets but we never really see them.

Look at us we included every major character and concept from the 80s cartoon and then some but we don't have time to properly show what you want to see them do.

Still gonna wait to watch anything, but was thinking about that this morning. I remember reading or seeing something that commented on how each of their own chairs in the kitchen had either their name or something else individual to them drawn on it. But did we ever see it... no.

Would it be too much to ask to have at least seen some good shots of the Turtles' bedroom? The best we see is a far shot of (and maybe it was only a pic online and not in the film) of Mikey and Raph's shared bunk bed. Leo has his own little corner on the opposite side, but god only knows how that is arranged since the most the film ever shows is a tight shot of him presumably sitting on his bed with a book in his hands. A real bed this time I assume, but never seen - gee, what was the point? And Donnie's little nook, yeah, good luck getting any real look at that either. I hope the lair thing in the extras actually finally lets us see all this, and a better look than a hyperactive 3 seconds glance, but not holding my breath.

It's a shame... there are people who put so much time and attention in trying to make these lair sets and then they're hardly seen at all. Sure, this film spent a little more time there than the first and actually just showed the Turtles simply at home, but what's actually seen of it is still pretty limited.

Unless Sachs was lying to April about that, just like he was lying about everything else to get April to lead him to the turtles. Or the sensei who raised him could've been Shredder's sensei, and Saki became Sach's silent partner/superior n the foot after their master passed away.

Not supporting the movie, just pointing out there is a solution.

I know someone previously posted an image of Rocksteady's report where it's revealed his real name is "Owen Rocksteed" or something, exactly where in the movie does that happen? I want to see what Bebop's real name is but I don't want to watch the whole movie again just to find that out.

Edit; Never mind I found it, it just shows Rocksteady's report in full but it does say "Zeck, Rocksteed" so I'm guessing Bebop is Anton Zeck as in the cartoon. Gotta love VLC's fastforward, 3.1X speed, not so fast you'll miss what you're looking for but fast enough to make the movie slightly closer to passable.

UPS showed up with my pre-order from Target this evening. The 'exclusive' shell case is a bit flimsier than I'd have hoped, but it's cool enough. Plus, the extras disc, which was my deciding factor anyhow. Inside it's pretty basic, just the three discs on a folding plastic thingy that is taken out of the shell case. No art at all on the inside or back, just on the slip cover, which I'll be keeping in that case (not in the case).

The irony right now being that I bought it mostly for the extras on the blu-ray, but I have no usable blu-ray player yet. Have one that I got for my b-day... but someone still owes me a tv, because my current one (a relic of the days of hefty glass screen tvs) is not compatible. Supposedly we'd go look at tvs when I wanted to (and we'd not gotten around to it), but that has now turned into "I was probably going to get you that for Christmas." >.> (Yay for b-day gifts I can't use until Christmas.)

Looks like my brother-in-law bought the film through our cable though, with extras also included. Not sure they're all there, but I guess I can at least see some that way for now.

If it wasn't for the extra copy of the first and the lack of Target's blu-ray bonus disc, I'd have gone for it. (Though I'm tempted to grab it and just give the discs to family/add them to the family movie collection, if Walmart's price isn't too bad.)

:( Went looking for the lunch box set... can't find it. Saw two sets with the little figures at Walmart, but no lunch box, not even an empty spot where anything had been, just looked like they don't even have it. Target also failed... maybe they'd had it, there was an empty spot besides some of the regular non-exclusive discs, but the shelf is only wide enough to hold maybe two at most, so I have my doubts that's what it was... surely they'd have put out more if it was.

Why couldn't they just sell the lunch box alone, too. :ohwell: Come on, those little figures are the same from those blind bags. Lemmie buy the lunch box on it's own...

On a different note, at least saw some of the extras via the digital copy someone in this house bought via our cable. As I figured, no Turtle deleted scenes. Judith's was nice to see though. The extra that shows off the lair didn't disappoint though, esp in what I'd hoped to see in it. Miss that we don't have all the pics of it like with the first, but it'll do.

ComicBookMovie.com has a new interview with Pete Ploszek
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/teenage_mutant_ninja_turtles/exclusive-comicbookmovie-sits-down-with-teenage-a145327

Rohan (CBM): So, to get started, what was it like stepping back into this role? Did it come easier to you versus the first time? Or did new challenges present themselves?

Pete Ploszek: Yeah, I think it was a combination of both. Obviously, the familiarity with the technology and all the mo-cap work along with our dynamic as a cast to get to come back a second time with the same people, same cast, same filmmaker. That’s just awesome. And you can really hit the ground running and build on what you did the first go-round, so that really helped us tell the story. But then of course there are new set pieces, new sequences – we were telling a bigger story this time around, so obviously you gotta step-up and deliver that, so yeah, it was a fun time with a little extra something to.

Rohan (CBM): I remember when we spoke the first time that you mentioned how you and the other guys went through a few weeks of specialized weapons training? This time around, did you have to do a refresher course or did a lot of it just come back to you?

Pete: This time around, we did a little bit, a little refresher course, but beyond that, the stunt team knew what we could do and what they could do. And so again, them just letting us open and close fights with certain beats and then letting those guys do all the hard work and make us look good.

Rohan (CBM): On the first film, Johnny Knoxville provided the voice for Leonardo, but this time around, you were able to do both mo-cap and the voiceover work. Did it affect your performance in any way, or well, did you approach it any differently than before or did it all feel pretty natural considering you are providing the voice when reading lines during your mo-cap performance.

Pete: Yeah, exactly, that’s why nothing really changed this go-round. As a foursome, we all kinda lean on each other to tell the story, to help each other out, call each other out if something wasn’t working, and we can make something better, cleaner, more fun and so it’s really a collaborative effort in that sense. Getting to do the voice made it all that much sweeter.

Rohan (CBM): Yeah, I remember the three of you having a really great rapport, even on the phone, so when production kicked off, were you able to pick up from where you left off?

Pete: Exactly, yeah, and this time around, it helped even more as we had a really clear sense of the tone of the movie and we were really aware of how far we wanted to push the fun and the revelry and the whole joke of the turtle universe. I think the Turtles are always sort of inside of the joke, they get it, so us being able to embrace it this time around and just go for it really helps. It made this a better experience the second time around.

Rohan (CBM): Like you mentioned, you guys more or less went all-out this time around – Krang, Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, Casey Jones. I remember the last time we spoke, you hadn’t read the script yet, so when you did eventually get the first script, what were you thinking when you read it and saw that you were about to introduce all of these classic characters and make something that would be really awesome for fans.

Pete: I got that sort of childhood feel, giddy excitement, opening up that toy box as a kid, pulling out all your action figures and basically everything is fair game. It’s just exciting as an actor to take on those villains and tell all of those different stories. We have as much fun on set as you can imagine. I mean if you’re not having fun on a Turtles set, then you’re really screwed.

Rohan (CBM): Shifting gears a bit, this film had a ton of cameos from supermodels to NBA players and while I don’t think the Turtles exactly got to share a scene with any of them, what was it like having people like Carmelo Anthony or Alessandra Ambrosio on-set, what was that environment like? Had to have been pretty exciting.

Pete: Yeah, you know as Turtles, we never actually got to overlap with any of the cameos, but we hear about it and they show us the dailies, so it was pretty exciting, just having that exciting feel to the set. These sports figures, they all want to take part in it and that’s just exciting. That’s some indication that you’re doing something right. So, that just sort of builds the energy. We had athletes visit the set, a lot of key New York athletes, that’s a blast and it feels so good to kinda reinvigorate the franchise and share it with people again. We actually did get to briefly meet Judith Hoag, who played the original April O’Neil, and who was awesome. That’s who I grew up with and I think we all sort of had a crush on her growing up because she was the OG April and she was the coolest, sweetest, kindest person around. So, it was fun getting to hear the stories from her and get to share that with her.

Rohan (CBM): Your action sequences were really top-notch this time. The car chase at the beginning, the skydiving, the river chase, which I believe some of it was shot on-location?

Pete: Yes! Some of it was, yes. So, in that sequence, all of the environment and backdrops, the water, was all shot with plates on-location. A crew went down, headed by Pablo Helman, to shoot all of that and we later shot all of our work on a mo-cap stage.

Rohan (CBM): So, which sequence did you have the most fun filming?

Pete: The car chase was awesome. They shot all of that in Buffalo and we were on a stage with the entire dump truck built for us, so everything you see there is real. Now, of course, we’re in a truck on stilts, not really moving at all, so there are challenges with that, imagining all these things moving by, all these helicopters flying overhead, but that’s pure play, that’s being a kid again. If you ever made sounds as a kid, shooting a toy gun, you know ‘pew pew pew,’ like that’s what it was. A full day of that.

Rohan (CBM): On another note, I don’t know if you’ve seen the TMNT film from 2007, the animated one.

Pete: Yeah, yeah, I have seen it.

Rohan (CBM): Nice, there’s this really great fight sequence between Leo & Raph, in the rain, and it’s just really them going at it. And I was just wondering what are your thoughts on possibly recreating that sequence and/or doing something similar for live-action with Alan Ritchson in a potential third film?

Pete: I remember that sequence, I’m pretty sure Raph wins at the end too and kind of gives Leo a bit to think about. I’d love that, that relationship is such an important part of the Turtle story and that’s why we see it come up time and time again, on the show, in the movies, and we have to keep it fresh because people see Leo & Raph argue and it’s like ‘here we go again’ and so as an actor, there’s always a challenge in putting a fresh spin on it, trying to inject something new. It’s a big struggle to be able to do that type of rooftop sequence and keep it new, but it's such a gorgeous sequence and to get to be able to do that in mo-cap live-action, like they can add that rain in after, it would be so awesome.

Rohan (CBM): Yeah, I think it came out when I was a freshman in high school, and I remember just thinking that was a really cool scene.

Pete: Yeah, yeah, and I think it really tells a story too of their relationship and they’re both great fighters and in their own ways are very capable leaders and they both step up and determine in the right moment which kind of leadership is necessary, you know leading by example or leading by the mind as a tactician, so it’s great to kind of take all of that into account when we’re shooting.

Rohan (CBM): Speaking of a potential third film, have you heard anything yet?

Pete: Not yet. As far as I’m concerned, there are people a lot higher up the food chain making those decisions, so we’re waiting to hear and I know that we’re all excited to keep doing these and I'm dying to get back in the same room with those four guys.

Rohan (CBM): Yeah I can imagine, and since you haven't heard anything yet, is there any specific direction you’d like to see your character go in a hypothetical third film?

Pete: Oh man, that’s a great question. I think what we were successful at this time around was telling sort of the emotional story of these brothers and their relationship with their family. And to continue to raise those stakes and continue to show these guys as very real and grounded and emotional brothers that love each other and hate each other and fight in equal measure, that’s the good stuff to me, that’s how this story expands beyond just the jokes and the play and all the fun stuff.

TigerClaw
09-21-2016, 04:43 PM
I bold the parts from the previous post that were interesting to me.

More continues right here.
Rohan (CBM): So final question, have you taken any souvenirs from set? Like maybe one of your katanas?

Pete: I’ve got my practice katanas from the first film, that I’ll swing around from time to time, but outside of that, we didn’t really take anything. I’m not sure. A lot of the stuff has to be preserved for reshoots or pickups and so they keep a close eye on us to make sure we don’t try to take anything off the wall, but if we get to do a third one, I’m going to have that at the top of the list.

Rohan (CBM): Definitely. Well, it was great speaking to you again and hopefully we can do this again sometime in the future.

Pete: Yeah, Rohan, really appreciate it man. I love what you guys do over there at ComicBookMovie. Always the first to break a lot of things. Keep up the good work.

Rohan (CBM): Thanks, and good luck on Teen Wolf. I've heard good things and I caught the trailer the other day and you looked pretty scary.

Pete: Thanks, yeah, I’m really excited. It’s such a fun show and they’re really, with this being their final year, pushing the envelope and I got a chance to play a Nazi werewolf, so it’s fun to mix things up a little bit from the Boy Scout I'm usually playing to this character I’m playing that’s a really nasty guy, so that’ll be fun.

To be honest, I think this movie will do better on Home Video, Redbox, VOD/Digital than in theaters because it really didn't come out at the right time so a lot of people dismissed it entirely, decided to watch it when it came out on Home Video and other services or just didn't know it existed which could be due to it's marketing. So I wouldn't count out a third one just yet.

Oh trust me I know, I've seen the abysmal box office for the film but because of the time the movie was released in theaters, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that it's doing well enough on Home Video, Redbox and VOD/Digital that a third film could possibly happen. I love Out of the Shadows and I hope a third film happens with Dave Green back as the director.

While I'd like for them to cap it off with a third**, I'm not so sure the expense would be worth it to them considering the performance of this one, which certainly had it's chances hurt by the first. IF they ever decide to go for it, skipping the theater and doing it direct to video might be a better option. Save some of the expense and viewers would prob see it sooner.

Now... the real challenge would be to do that, replace the writers with someone fantastic, do a complete 180 that has people asking why oh why it wasn't in theaters... Do you do a fourth then? Do you return to theaters? :trazz:

** Because despite the sucky aspects, I still sort of want to see where it goes from here for the Turtles with their new alliance with the police and their getting the 'keys to the city,' for Casey to turn into a better version (for "April" to... I dunno, maybe just go away), and for this set of films to not end with Krang and new Shredder and Karai being such a waste and posing so little of an actual threat. I liked the Turtles much better in this one, but these movies were otherwise like a bad fling that didn't satisfy. lol

OUT OF THE SHADOWS DISC SALES TOP CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows may have flopped at the box office earlier this year, but its release on home video has been an entirely different story. According to the Nielsen VideoScan sales charts, this sequel to 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the hottest selling disc during the week of September 20th. Considering the amount of competition this release had, these results are pretty significant. Two popular Disney movies were released in the same time frame, but even Captain America wasn’t popular enough to keep the turtles from claiming the top spot when it came to disc sales last week.

On September 13th, Disney released their hit film Captain America: Civil War on Blu-ray and DVD. Usually a release this big is popular enough to outsell its competition in the market for weeks to come, but it fell to #2 on the list when Out of the Shadows was released a week later. In addition, Disney’s 25th Anniversary Edition of Beauty and the Beast was released on the same day as the new TMNT movie, but it wasn’t popular enough to keep the turtles from owning their first week on the home video market. Beauty and the Beast did claim top honors for Blu-ray sales, but in terms of overall disc sales, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows trumped all of its competition.
If you’re a fan of Paramount’s work with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this is very good news. Although they have yet to announce any plans for a third film, home video sales this good can sometimes save an entire franchise. Depending on exactly how much money the movie made in overall disc sales, it is entirely possible that Paramount could decide to move forward with a third TMNT film. Although Out of the Shadows wasn’t a big earner in theaters, it did manage to pull in enough money to pay for the film’s budget and at least some of the film’s advertising/distribution costs. If the movie continues to do well on home video, there is a possibility that the studios behind it could eventually start to turn a profit.

The sooner this movie begins turning a profit, the more likely we will be to see a sequel. Getting a start like this is definitely a good sign, and fans should remain hopeful that we may in fact see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 in the near future.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Brian Tee On Playing Shredder, Possibility Of Returning For Sequel
http://comicbook.com/2016/09/27/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-brian-tee-on-playing-shredder-possi/

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has seen a number of iterations brought to film over the past few decades, but Out of the Shadows was perhaps the most faithful to the fan-favorite animated cartoon. The movie -- which is now available on Blu-ray, DVD or digital download -- brought to life characters like Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, and of course the turtle's main nemesis, Shredder.

ComicBook.com host Chris Killian recently had the chance to talk with actor Brian Tee, who portrayed the iconic role in Out of the Shadows. If you've seen the film, you know that Shredder was betrayed by his one-time ally Krang.

Tee was asked if Shredder will ultimately get his revenge on Krang somewhere down the line.

"Ohhh that would be great," Tee said. "I actually do think that Shredder is way cooler than Krang anyway, and his betrayal was definitely one of those things that we have to be like, "really? really dude?" You know, as he betrayed me and he froze me in time, um, people get unfrozen, I feel, so just saying that there will definitely will be a revenge of the Shredder, hopefully in a movie really really soon, so we'll have to wait and see."

To be fair, the little pink alien ball of goop isn't exactly known for his loyalty, and really villains, in general, tend to skip that whole ethics thing overall, so it's not like it is that surprising.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles continue to be as popular as ever, no matter how many renditions or transformations the characters receive. Tee said that it is easy to see why Michaelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael have managed to remain so popular.

"It's amazing that, you know I have a little daughter now that will probably grow up loving the turtles as well, but you know I have friends with like 5-year-olds, so it's like, it's the one I feel comic book superhero, whether it's within the cartoon or the movies that kind of transcends generations," he said. "So grownups can enjoy the turtles just as much as their kids do and there's really no effort in like saying, 'okay, I'm going to go watch that movie because my kid watches that movie.' No, I'm actually going to go watch that movie because I enjoy watching that movie ya know, so it's one of those great things, and that's why I think the turtles have kind of stood the test of time."

Question though... how much of a role do the collectable exclusives play and what might sales do once those are sold out?

Kinda weird though. The top sellers were the movie about a pretty girl and a guy people think is a monster who turns human again vs. the movie about a pretty girl (though Fox is a matter of opinion there) and four guys some would call monsters (in and off screen) who consider turning human.

G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra really didn't turn a profit during its theatrical run. It made $302.5 million against a budget of $175 million, but it was a big hit with rentals and home video sales, which helped green-light a sequel. The same goes for Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, which made $225 million against a budget of $95 million. However, it was a big hit on home-media. We'll just wait and see about another Platinum Dunes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

Here's an article about it from someone other than those idiots. http://variety.com/2016/digital/news/ninja-turtles-and-beauty-and-the-beast-split-top-disc-sales-honors-1201873237/

It was second best in blu ray sales to Beauty and the Beast. But came out on top in Blu ray/DVD. Beat Cap 3 in its second week. Big whoop.

This did come as a little bit of a surprise for me because I was really expecting Beauty and the Beast to be the overall winner, especially since it is right now going through milestone anniversary and the fact that upcoming live-action remake is so highly anticipated. However, the film is only available in the Blu-ray format when it comes to physical sales while TMNT: Out of the Shadows is available on both physical formats.

I haven't been on much here as it got weird with a lot of stupid posts and i've been in the Nick Toon thread a lot.

DVD not out in the UK yet, it's out at the end of next month. I still haven't pre ordered it yet. But I probably just buy it Sainsburys when I finish Work as it's just opposite it.

If there is going to be a 3rd movie, I bet it's going to be a direct to DVD movie and hopefully Bay and his team won't be involved in it.

But I do prefer a reboot than a 3rd movie.

Given how expensive it is to animate the turtles anything live action is out of the question for anything other than theatrical movies. Even good quality animatronics would be off the table imo.

I would prefer a made for TV film and the plot being a crossover with the 2012 Nickelodeon series and have the people behind the show be entirely in charge of it.

I will honestly pay you to stop posting here.

If someone paid me $5000 I'd consider it.

Hmmmm. Tempting.

What's your price to only post, say, only twice a month?

$100 a month, and I'd restrict myself to only posting in the Nick or comic section in the reviews thread for the new eps of the show or IDW comics. $5,000 to leave the forums forever.

I accept no substitutes. I'll also accept payment to be a plant on another forums. Keep in mind I have no computer skills whatsoever, I don't even know how to work a twitter, so I don't know anything about social media.
