Warrior Chrome Dome released in 1995 but is a repaint of the 1991 figure.

Warrior Metalhead Michaelangelo released in 1995 but is a repaint of the 1989 figure.

1. Am I correct with this so far?

On the 1989 Metalhead the date is found on the back and stamped 1989 but on the 1995 fig it's on the bottom of the foot and says 1995.

On the 1991 Chrome Dome the date is on the bottom of the foot 1991.

I would think similar to the Warrior Metalhead the date for the Warrior Chrome Dome would be in a different location and also be 1995.

But I found it in the same location as the 1991 Chrome Dome on the bottom of the foot and also it says 1991 Not 1995, like I would think.

2. Is this suppose to be this way or did someone over the years decide to paint the 1991 Chrome Dome legs and put them on the 1995 body and I'm looking at a partial custom?

I opened my moc warrior chrome and i just checked the feet. Mine says 1991 too. It is most likely that someone was to lazy to change the dates at the factory. Your's is legit.

Also, Metalhead had new legs & torso made for that figure (he doesn't have ball socket joint legs), so Playmates had to make new molds.

I have one and a half.
That is until I can do some repairs. Worse luck ever dude, I broke the legs off the Warrior Chrome Dome. Though with a little repair work it should be unnoticeable. Which one do you have?

I've got the Michaelangelo, but I'd love to add the Chromedome. I have the original Chromedome figure
