How many hours of restful sleep do you get each night?

I think I average around 7/8 but would love a steady 9 hours every night.

Last night was tough. My cat woke me up a few hours after I had went to bed because she wanted outside. Then this morning I jumped out of bed well before I was scheduled to wake up. All five smoke alarms decided to go off. No fire but I managed to shock myself when disconnecting them, ouch. Anyway got almost 6 hours of restless sleep. I wish I could average about 9 restful hours to feel really good. I suppose I could function on 3 but not consistently.

Depends on the definition of restful I suppose. Usually a total of about 4 hours of sleep. No I'm not kidding. I hit the pillow around 11 or so and get up at 3:30 on work nights. On days off I sleep in until around 10 or so. I am the posterchild for insomniac nightowls.....

Between 5 to 9 depending on the day, the season, and if tired or not.

I'd say eight or nine depending on the day. Sometimes I do tend to wake up during the night though I have no idea why.

You are a champion to maintain daily on 4hours sleep. I would go insane.

Between 7 and 9.
I have one of those tracking phone apps.
I've heard about those. It tracks how deep of sleep you get right? Is it the one that listens to your breathing and knows if you wake up or something? Someone was telling me about the app the other day but I was a little confused. :toops:

It measures motion during sleep.
The deeper you are in sleep, the less you move.
Then what it'll do is have the alarm go off during a lighter time of the sleep cycle, so you're not startled awake.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me. Less confusing now. :)

Not nearly enough... the tumor in my brain cause weight gain which has caused sleep apnea which is so much fun. I used to be able to function decently well off just 6 or so hours of sleep each night though. Up for work at 5am work til 8 or 9pm (two jobs) and then bed by 11 with the rare nap on a Sunday afternoon...

I usually get a good 4 hours of sleep a night.
Sometimes less, sometimes more.
It depends on how much time I dedicate to video games/tv/internet before I decide to call it a night.

Eh, some days I'll be more tired than others, but for the most part my body's used to it.

When I'm working, usually around 4. When I'm not, I sleep for about 8.
