Variety reports Joel Silver, who produced the movie, will adapt director Shane Black's buddy cop comedy into a contemporary female-led drama for Fox with one-hour episodes.
Silver will executive produce along with Ken Kao, Rodney Ferrell, and Michael Diliberti, who will also write the series. The show will be a co-production between Lionsgate, 20th Century Fox Television, and Silver Pictures Television.
