The video game franchise that comes first in my head is none other than Counter-Strike.

Its had a pretty big resurge in popularity since Global Offensive had the Arms Deal update, but I feel that its big for the wrong reasons.

Nowadays, all people seem to be doing is trying to get skins and microtransactions have utterly taken over the game.

I miss the days when Counter-Strike was bit more ambitious.

Even the worst selling game in the franchise, Condition Zero, atleast had ambition back in the day because it attempted to give the game new features (like a single player campaign).

The result was somewhat mediocre, but I'd love to see the next CS game try new things like a campaign, and get big for reasons other than skins...

Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building. I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.
