In that case, the Titanic just needed some good therapy.

Well, being mortally wounded will inevitably make you a goner anyhow.
Including size references in ebay, etc listings is always a good thing... *nods* *Sees sword stand on eBay* (Not what I was looking for but checked it out out of curiosity due to the almost nothing price. From China, but still.) Get slapped back into reality via a jarring change in expected size when the next pic shows it holding a sword shaped key chain and immediately LOL. However, the 6.8cm/2.6 inch (width) might work nicely for Turtle figures. Last edited by IndigoErth; 03-02-2018 at 08:26 PM. |

I can’t believe people still watch award shows. I guess I did watch the MTV VMAs when I was a teenager. But are award shows really that entertaining? Especially with all the other programming that could be viewed, video games or reading comics. Oh well, each to their own.

I got bored of aware shows a long time ago. Something I'd have enough interest in would have to be nominated in order for me to bother, and even then I'd probably just flip to it now and then just hoping to catch that part.
So tired of the Proactiv acne treatment ads. Watch certain channels at later hours and almost seems like it makes up half the damn commercials. (As if they thing they're REALLY selling isn't the newest brush...) Last edited by IndigoErth; 03-05-2018 at 06:17 PM. |

No, but now I feel like a Megalopolis is a dinosaur. How long ago did it eat you? |

I used to live in the world's 2nd largest Megalopolis for a significant portion of my life but moved away almost a decade ago. Can't say that it was good, but there was a certain rush of nostalgia when I went back to visit said city (Karachi) a year ago.

the love theme to saint elmo's fire sounds an awful lot like the poltergeist end credits.

For some weird reason I've had Disturbed stuck in my head all morning. And I'm not even really a fan of them....

In the midst of making a Utrom plush (test), I used an old yellow shirt to do it.
And now that I'm working on stitching the legs - which are just circles when I cut them out...I can't help but feel like I'm just making soft perogies

Yesterday I put out the last couple of rugs still waiting to get out of the stockroom at work. (They were on a cart I was intended to buy - and did yesterday, though it will come home when we can get the family pickup truck over there - and figured it was fair to finally get them out onto the floor.)
They're inside plastic so kind of hard to see what they look like. One had two layers of plastic, the thicker outer layer open on one end and a small hole in the thin inner plastic it was wrapped in. So I opened the hole a little larger to see what this soft black material was, esp as I was at first not sure if it really was a rug... Omg... It's a black FUR rug, like a medium-long haired cat (just not as soft); sorta like a cat we have. It's probably a beast to keep clean, I'm not sure how you'd even take a vacuum to that, but I kinda want it, if only I had a place for it. |

Well...I'm fine after that Call the Midwife season finale
Perfectly fine. BUT HEY! At least I can hope some Doctor Who will leak into season 8... ...next year...(Or the Christmas special...it would have been on fire by Christmas 1963)

I can't tell if TMNT is making a return or going through the final death throes.
I also can't tell if that's a spider on the wall, or just dirt. |

At work we've been busy moving the stuff from upstairs down to the first floor. (So sad to see it looking so empty. ) I'd gotten off the elevator with a quad (the typical clothing store display rack thingy with the four arms) and was pushing the thing past what remains of the area were women's purses are displayed. There was a middle aged/older Indian couple there... I could feel the husband staring. I assume it was the 60% off sign on the quad that was so appealing. I know people from India can have a rather bad habit of staring at people, but come on... As I moved past on the opposite side of a tall-ish fixture and a column next to it... I just knew when I rounded that corner they'd still be staring. I could just feel it. So I turned that corner past the column, half glanced real quick, and damned if they weren't both there, now turned right toward me, lined up side by side, just staring. Wtf people, come on... Weirdness. (At least I wasn't followed. lol) |

Homophones are funny.
How two completely different words can sound so similarly, even though they have vastly different meanings.

Giving my 21-month-old nephew his first try of Pop Rocks candy. Wasn't quite sure what he'd think of that, but it seemed to be a hit.
