John Byrne's X-Men Fanfic: Elsewhen
Launched in 2019 and made freely available on John Byrne's official forums. Elsewhen tells the story of an alternate universe taking place shortly after the Dark Phoenix Saga.
It's in black and white, but it's probably some of Byrne's best writing, and art, I've seen in a long time. http://m.byrnerobotics.com/forum/for...asp?FID=6&PN=0 |

Crazy to see this here and now... I was, literally just 5 minutes ago digging though my bins going through my Byrne & Claremont run. Serendipity.
Still the most bankable run in all of X-Men History. Uncanny X-Men vol 1, #'s 108 - 143. Jim Lee's run was just as big for my generation, but the nostalgia of "being there" aside, Claremont and Byrne's X-Men run is the real deal in every way. |

Spider-Man guest stars in the latest issue.
While Bryne's 1999-2000 run with the mainline Spidey was notoriously bad, I do like how he writes him here, feels very much like the Peter of old. |

Figured I'd give this a little update since I'm going back and re-reading it
Byrne lost interest in this in 2022, he didn't feel motivated after experiencing some health problems. He unfortunately ended it on a cliff-hanger too. The next arc was to involve Logan battling Doctor Doom in Hell as Doom sought to liberate his mother's soul from Mephisto |

Big fan of Byrne's work all over (which I guess I mentioned above a few years ago). This seems to me like something that Marvel could buy and publish in honor of Byrne somewhere down the road.
I haven't kept up with much of what he has been doing for some time now. I would LOVE a commission from him someday but that probably won't happen. |

It's a real bum that he's slowed down so much when he had probably one of the best second winds from any veteran comic creator in recent years |
