I hope they at least appear in the beginning/end or whatever. Like I know it's a Sonic movie, but movie-wise, Officer Tom is as big as a character as Sonic is.

I kinda hate how sequels get rid of major characters like that. Kinda like Cars 2 sidelining most everyone cept Mater even when he was A character but not the MAIN character.

It does say it still "stars" James Marsden, so maybe he'll have a B-plot that comes back around at the climax.

So kind of like Sonic 3. He gets Knuckles on his side, informs him of Sonic being the enemy, and Knuckles acts as his foe until it is revealed that Robotnik/Eggman was just using him.

Welp, I've already invested myself in the first movie which was okay so I will definitely watch this one when it is released. Curious how it will go.
