Why would anyone ship real people? I can understand shipping in cartoons/anime where characters are fictional, but people ship real life actors in shows? WTF?

I think we have all "shipped" couples before, doesn't matter if it's live action or cartoons, the difference is to what levels people take it. I mean when they don't happen I can be disappointed but that's about it.

Talking about Cubed, I remember how much he loved trolling AshxMisty shippers. I mean I was a fan of that ship but I knew the show had moved on.

Some ships I have liked include and ended up not happening include RavenxBeastBoy and ZukoxKatara but I had just as much fun watching the shippers meltdown when ZukoxKatara didn't happen and just the reaction it got and how crazy people had gone to "prove" it. Now they're using social media pressure, these children grew up but didn't mature.

Now I wonder if the cute ship of Finn and Poe from The Force Awakens is not a joke and people are dead serious about it. I found the "clues" hilarious and can totally see it but no way do I ever expect it to happen, now would I want to

Man this show is boring. Boring stories, boring villains, and god forbid the writers give Supergirl the LEAST bit of sexuality in her character.

SJW show in the extreme.

If you check out the series when it's trending on twitter, all people seem to care about are cat grants 'woe is me' speeches and the cop romance.

they hardly ever seem to mention supergirl.

damn shame cause all the elements are there to make it work. it's just the writing and the political stuff that drags it down.

Tonights's episode was the best. Carl Lumbly as Jon's dad was amazing. Could have done without half the episode being Sanvers Bridal shower nonsense. We get it Maggie has Daddy issues.

I love the fact that they brought Carl Lumbly on to portray J'onn's dad. Was nice to hear him again as another Martian after all these years. Definitely one of the show's strongest episodes.

The other downside to this show is introducing all of Superman's rogues rather than using some of SG's actual rogues. She may not have many of her own unique villains but to just origin every Superman one is getting crazy. The CW could do a Superman show spun out of this. Also a Legion would be cool... but then a Batman series would be nice too... steal Gotham and flashforward the cast 20 years or so.... five days a week or four days, with 2 hour blocks.

Yeah, but does Supergirl HAVE that many original rogues? From what I've read, she doesn't...

Not THAT many but there are some they can use and then, I dunno, make some up on their own or something... lol.

Or at the very least, allow Superman's rogues to be established already and have escaped custody from Metropolis or whatever...
