The extended cut is pretty good.

Much like BVS, the extended version makes more sense and has a more solid tone. I think there were only a couple of whole scenes added back in; the new stuff was mostly extended versions of what was in there already. There maybe a few extra chunks of violence, and some of the characters, Harley especially, are more fleshed out.

There is more Joker, and some of the additional material makes me wonder how much of the stuff people think was in the original cut was actually, really there, and how much is just Reddit BS.

It probably won't change any minds, but I liked it.

My main deal is, like him or hate him, the Joker had no real business being in this movie other than a few flashbacks with Harley. This wasn't HIS movie. Save that for the Batman movie. The movie woulda been just fine if he was only in the flashbacks to Harley's backstory, and his appearance near the end to break Harley out would have been 10X a bigger surprise to the viewers.

Given his outrage over his Joker scenes being cut and lackluster reception, I doubt we'll see him play Joker in any future DC movies anyway. Joker will definitely be recast in whatever next DC film he appears in.

He's probably contractually obligated to appear in a certain number of films as the Joker. Whether he'll waste time sending people dead rats to "get in character" next time around is a different story.

Just finished watching Suicide Squad. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I ended up loving the Enchantress as the villain, and thought that all the main cast came of pretty good. Letto's Joker kinda disappointed me, being too un-Jokerish, but it was an interesting take on Joker, I'll give 'em that.

I thought this movie stunk.

The Honest Trailer about sums it up.

I was convinced I would HATE Leto's Joker as soon as I saw the tats etc but I quite liked his take, if a little derivative.

Harley was perfect though, can't contest that.
