You're welcome!! You gain nothing from he Turtle Van set other than a smaller option to carry all discs.

In your link on Amazon, under "Edition" it says "No Enhanced Packaging". So does that mean that maybe the van is not included and you'll only receive the discs?

I just got mine in the mail today. Definitely the Turtle Van box set, so no worries there. That's strange that it says "No Enhanced Packaging" in the Amazon description though...

So Lionsgate actually is re-releasing a complete series set of the original series, and it's actually in shelf-friendly packaging. The case looks to be one of those oversized DVD cases though, like the one that was used for things like the complete series set of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I'm thinking about buying this. If the cast ever comes to a convention in my area I might have them sign it.

90$? For a DVD boxset in 2018? The hell with that, you can get the complete collection of Star Trek TNG for 75$, on Blu-Ray! And it's nearly twice as long in total runtime! And also, you know, Star Trek TNG is way more enjoyable as a whole.

Lionsgate will probably continue to re-release new sets till the end of time. I at least wish they'd fix some of the order like put the two skipped Season 5 eps back in the Season 5 instead of on Season 10 (lol), but it's likely the same discs.

Just give us a Blu-Ray already.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

I'd prefer to have the complete series on digital streaming platforms at the highest resolution feasible... at least on par with the transfer quality of the German DVD release.

My dream would also be for Rob Paulson and Barry Gordon to re-record new lines on the eps they missed with the substitute VA's, but I know that would never happen.

I at least wish Raph's voice was better on "The Ninja Sword of Nowhere" and the Euro Vacation eps. The Season 10 Raph voice was fine.

Eh... OK, I guess it would technically still look better? And there's the benefit of maybe having more episodes per disc? I'm just not sure the sharper image is really necessary for a show like, just make the DVDs cheaper.

In regards to old 4:3 aspect ratio cartoons, I'm not a stickler for BluRay or the so-called "hi-def" marketing gimmick, but I know that many of the Lionsgate DVD releases suffered from compression in order to get lots of episodes to fit on a single disc. And that's a problem that Lionsgate never rectified despite the many re-releases and repackaging of the show.

I still have my box set which is in that Turtle Van case. For anyone who hasn't gotten this set. I highly recommended despite the price.

Yeah I never got why that show is ****ing hard ot track down on DVD? How doesn't it have proper DVD releases? I own a couple of 2k3 DVDs of season 1. Each consist about 3 or 4 episodes iirc. Bought them in an electronics store in the DVD section back in 2008 or so?

Will any store besides Amazon have it? I don’t feel like paying that price for it to show up at my door with a smashed DVD box and stickers placed all over the DVD box.
