When the paranormal investigator becomes part of the paranormal... Kind of a really odd premise in a way; they become what they always hunted for. Or they find out they were wrong or in what way they were... or they find out nothing at all. If ghosts were at all true, too bad people like her can't report back on her findings post-death. Heh.

Gotta be honest, I had no idea the character was based on a real person, but she must have led an interesting life if she inspired movies.
