Saw the first 2 episodes on TV. Didn’t care for the humor. I like the storyline though. I like Moon Girl more but that already has a whole season out.

The name must be a play on Hailey’s Comet and people thinking it would be the end of the world. That’s clever. What did you think of it?

Like you, I had problems with the humour (a gag a second, not all of them landed), I don't appreciate that Scott is a bit of a well-intentioned idiot who knows about the list except the kissing part either.

Hailey's a decent character though, and I've seen clips in advance where she does a good job focusing on other things with her family and friendships, so I'm encouraged to check more of it out.

They've introduced a "woke" element to it now, Scott's younger sister Becker has a romantic interest in Hailey.

Scott broke up with Kristine in the latest episode too, so that opens up the possibility of Hailey moving in to kiss him at some point. I get the feeling episode eleven was intended as a mid-season finale, but more episodes are to air over the summer.

Maybe they're going to pivot over to Scott/Hailey/Becker as the triangle now?

Several episodes in now, and I really like it. Becker lost interest in Hailey and her sexuality was pushed to the back burner, so it's a conventional comedy/adventure series now where characters learn lessons and the bond between Hailey and Scott gets furthered without any complications.

I don't know if there was an executive order early on to make the show less arc-driven and more standalone and they had to adjust for all of that, but I don't mind it.

Watched this week's episodes...season seems to be in endgame mode. Kristien's whole thing with Scott resolved entirely and Hailey's mom now knows about her crush.
