Batwoman TV Series
Leading on from the crossover, Arrowverse is getting its own Batwoman show on the CW.
https://www.comicbookmovie.com/batma...e-kane-a162181 It's another CW show, so I won't be checking it out, but that's pretty cool irregardless.

No worries. Perhaps we could get a mod to combine them both?

Anyway, this might possibly be interesting. So we're all in agreement. At some point when this crosses over with Supergirl, she'll have a thing with Alex... |

Provided she makes a pit stop with the Legends, because I think I kind of need her and Sarah to be introduced.

I just hope this show is more like Black Lightning in terms of tone, pacing and writing and less like Supergirl. After how the latest season ended, I think I'm close to giving it up.

I agree 100% I gave up on Supergirl 4 episodes before s3 ended because it was terrible. If Batwoman is more like black lightning that would be perfect. I Love black lightning

Considering they never explained why Sara Lance looked different in the pilot episode of Arrow vs her appearance in season 2 and onward....they probably wont explain why Kate Kane looks different in season 2.
Unless they explain that she had a accident that caused bad damage to her face [off screen] and they fix it with one of those face masks to change her appearance like its been done on the show already. |

I'm just curious as to what led to this. You don't often see a lead actor get replaced period, but especially not with one of these shows.
Part of me suspects that she's too thin-skinned to handle the stuff people say about her on the internet. One would hope otherwise, but it kinda fits the MO, doesn't it? I mean, she's one of those people who was "bullied off of Twitter" so I can see it. ((Shrug)) Yet another case of the behind-the-scenes stuff being far more intriguing than the product. Happening a lot nowadays.

Granted, I haven't seen any potential complaints and insults because I don't follow the show. But at this point, doesn't everybody in media know what they're getting into? Everybody makes fanboy jokes, so you can't really plead ignorance. If I were pulling in CW lead actor money, you can bet I'd dry my tears with $100 bills and keep going!

Fair point, BUT - and this is me painting a lot of people with one brush again - human beings of an extremely liberal persuasion do tend to wear their skin inside-out. We've seen it A LOT over the last five years.
It's like a certain group of entertainers only get into it for the praise, and when they get criticized, suddenly the job is too hard. Like I said, this is just speculation. But when I heard the news about her quitting that's the first thing that jumped to mind.

In cases like these it's best not to explain why the actor changed, the MCU certainly didn't, why should this? For purposes of the show it's the same character, it's rare the shows acknowledge it unless it's a different character like say passing the torch, only shows that have acknowledged it are Big Bad Beetleborgs / Metallix and dr who.

Like I know she got hurt and that's a valid reason, but they seem pretty adamant that is not the reason. So who knows? I'm just spitballing.

It wasnt 100-percent her decision,? concedes a source close to the show. It was a breakup. She wasnt happy working on the show, and did that make her fun to work with? No. So everyone decided it would be in the best interests of the show, and for all concerned, if they parted ways. It just wast a good fit.
