Well, that is interesting. I saw the article this morning about it but assumed it was a work by WWE given his new heel status. He may be "third wheel" on The Shield, but I never thought the day would come for a while anyway, that one of them would leave. A smaller promotion calling him? Considering his wife works for WWE and his fan favorite status its a surprise he would turn down such an offer, but thrn again I am just a casual fan and may not know the ins and outs.

Apparently AEW is throwing a lot more money at these guys than Vince is, for a much lighter schedule and some of them get to still work for other promotions. Easy to see why they'd wanna jump. Some of my buddies are signed with AEW, apparently it's a pretty sweet plum.

Vince isn't nervous, of course, but I kinda think maybe he should be. We all know what happened the LAST time someone offered his guys a bunch more money for a bunch less work. He managed to stay afloat, but... people forget how close they were in 1995/1996 to going under. Shawn Michaels as World Champion wrestling on house shows in front of 1 or 2 thousand people isn't something they wanna rush back to, I promise.

Once Omega is officially with AEW, things could start to get very interesting.

Went to my first live WWE show on Saturday since... whenever Nexus was a thing.

Forgot how fun these events can be with the right people. And it's probably just the sappy old man in me but half the fun is hearing the kids mark out and be so passionate about every bit of action in the ring. Good times.

The card was pretty underwhelming, even by house show standards. Main event was Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, and... Mustafa Ali. No Becky, Miz, or AJ Styles in sight so it didn't exactly capture that feeling of a full card. Even still, had a great time. When they roll around back to Vancouver I'd be happy to see them again.

Hopefully Raw next time.

In any era but the "PC/SJW Culture Era", that broad wouldn't even have a job. Generally lousy and not even anything to look at, all before you get to how sloppy and dangerous she is. What a joke.

When you're required to have a "Token Fatty" so people don't complain about your show, even if she's terrible at, like, everything, you know things are askew.

Ambrose ain't no great shakes either, so whatever. Should be quite a sight.
