Which Turtle spoke first?
Simple question but maybe someone knows, re-reading the first issue today and the book mentions that at first, one of the turtles speaks, then the others follow suit. Any idea who was the first turtle to talk? I doubt such a minor thing was ever clarified but maybe?

Conveniently I see that Mirage's site has that exact page online.

I'm not sure about Issue 1 of Mirage either. But in the 2003 series, its definetly either Leonardo or Donatello (since we got to hear Raphael and Michelangelo's baby voices which don't match with the first turtle to speak).

We can assume it was Mikey in the first live action film ("Pizza! Piiizzaaa!"), & though that baby turtle dialogue was written for the screenplay & likely inspired by the characters love of pizza in the Fred Wolf cartoon, most of the movie was built from the original comics. For me, that's sufficient enough cause to say it was Michelangelo in Mirage as well, but that is of course just head-canon. I think it'd make sense given the context of his personality in the source universe, though, where it's said he is the most talented & emotionally in touch.

In the comic it could be just about any of them. In the cartoon... Well, it's Sinterniklaas' voice, so it's Leo.

For some reason when I read it my first thought was Mikey, but I might be biased...
Peter hasn't updated his blog in a while, otherwise i'd try to ask during one of his Q&A posts. Seems like he has basically abandoned the turtles blog and only uses his other one.

Over a year since the last update now, and that was the last Q&A.

Yup. From what i've seen though he typically goes long periods without posting so maybe abandoned isn't the case but...
