I agree! Although I certainly prefer fan-comics to fan-fiction. Dasha has really been putting out some amazing stuff!

1987 TMNT sex
I don't care if it's fan comics and fan fiction, just it's based on the 1987 cartoon. And real fanworks. Sometimes I search for it, and discover stupid, stories like "Donatello and Irma have sex" or sex-oriented drawings of April and Irma.
Annoying. Read porno magazines or watch porno movies instead if TMNT doesn't fit, at least better than destroying TMNT characters. I have no problems with the ordinary romance (Donatello-Irma, Michelangelo-Kala) that stays in the cartoon tone (liking each other and other stuff). But not sex stories. Back in 2004 I was reading Jepahel's fiction of the 1987 show, and then some "Duck and Cover" (using Ace Duck) and other cool stuff. Searching for some more almost every day for years, I have discovered almost nothing new. Then one day I discovered one story, went into it, but became disappointed when it was sex-oriented (thankfully, I was warned before the story could start). 8 years and almost nothing has happened. Scandal It was once some science fiction film called "Black Hole" produced by Walt Disney, using the Mickey Mouse logotype. It wasn't children and family-friendly, so after that Walt Disney thankfully stopped doing that. It's almost the same using children and family-friendly 1987 TMNT to promote sex stories. 1987 TMNT is best when it fits both children and family and older people. I can't and don't want to stop people from writing 1987 TMNT sex, but just want to say how much I personally dislike it. |

You've read my "Nothing to Fear" comic, right? I do plan on doing more issues in the future. Anything to help fill the creative gap, right?

SOLD All joking aside, I get your point. I've found a lot of fanfic for the FW 'Toon falls into uneccersary territory, like the authors want the show to grow up with them, rather than allowing the show to invite them to embrace the inner child of yesteryear. I'm working on some fancomics right now (have been on-and-off since 2009) which will be trying to capture the tone and spirit of the old show while moving it forward a tad. I even asked Dasha for help...havent got a response yet though.

Oh-ho. How many letters... You are kidding?
Ok... ZariusTwo, I'll be happy to participate in the project. But. (Am I not answered the letter?) I have many questions about this. I asked for references to your past work. I need to know on what you have worked previously and what was your success. I'm a busy man. I can not take on projects in which I doubt ... Write to me. Then we'll talk.

Attention
Awesome. But can someone re-name this thread "[Fan Comic] Dimension X - afterword". Correctly spelled, I think this would get more attention

Spoiler:
I reworked it as a novella and Oldmanwinters was going to do it, things came up (my mental breakdown), and the project was halted. I've got a new idea now and need an artist as Oldman had moved on, so I turned to you. If you have something against untested writers, that's fine, I'll look elswhere, but I'd implore you to take a risk and work with me on this project, it'll be good for both of us. You work is excellent and I'm going to bring it up on other fandoms I inhabit.
