Divide and Conquer in my opinion.

I don't think any of the episode long finales will ever beat it.

I do like Wedding Bells and Bytes though, but not the biggest fan of Carmaggedon.

Wedding Bells and Bytes wasn't the finale for the 2003 series? That would be Turtles Forever?

I think the Mutant Apocalypse finale was on its way to the top for me, but that rushed ending really killed it for me. Divide and Conquer doesn't necessarily feel like a send-off until the last minute or so, especially since we've seen these Turtles take on much bigger threats (such as the same season's Shredder/Krang/Dregg team-up). And so, we're left with Turtles Forever. It's not really the optimal series finale imo, but it holds a special place with me, and as far as finality goes, it's the best of the three.

But the Nick series is weird, in that technically Season 4 is the climax and Season 5 is the epilogue, just little side-stories to close up other plots (not including Mutagen Man, rip that plot). So, in a way, Requiem/Owari can be interpreted as the "true" finale of the series. So, if that's the case, my vote changes to Requiem/Owari. But if we keep it to just the last episodes of each series, I stay with Turtles Forever.

Season 5 of Nick was written where it could have three different endings (the opening 4 parter with Shredder/Kavaxas, the 80's TMNT crossover, or Mutant Apocalypse), as all 3 would have made fitting conclusions. Besides the fact that Bebop/Rocksteady were on their own again in the 80's crossover eps and still working for Tiger Claw/Shredder in the opening arc.

Yeah but that doesn't change the facts that:
  1. Carmaggedon is the final episode according to production order
  2. It is the last episode to get an official release
  3. Comes last in the DVDs
  4. Is set at the end of the timeline
  5. Ends with a special credit to Eastman and Laird

So the finale of Nick already aired and the rest are just the fillers in between?

Really? Wow, I had just recently checked on wikipedia the other week and it said the show would finish around November.

If all episodes have aired I think it's time that I watch the whole series.

None of them are ideal, to be honest. No vote from me.

Turtles Forever would get my vote but you didn't include it.

I’m only up to the 10th episode, so I’ve 10 more to go.
I like what I’ve seen and read about the upcoming shows.

I really enjoyed Turtles Forever and have always seen that as the 2K2 finale.

Definitely Turtles Forever, if for nothing else but the awesome Mirage cameos.

Like most people here, I think Turtle's Forever is the best finale.

Of the choices listed, I have to go with Divide and Conquer. While it definitely could have been better, I think it had the 'finale' feel down very nicely. I liked seeing the Turtles recognized as Ninja Masters in their own right after all the adventures they had experienced.

Wedding Bells and Bytes was good but it felt rushed to me. If they had spread it out to more than one episode, it might have helped it to flow better. All the characters showing up for the wedding, while interesting, didn't really fit the narrative, in my opinion. Still enjoyed it though.

Carmaggedon. ..eh, I appreciate the thought and effort put into this finale but I just plain don't like it. I've never been a fan of 'bittersweet endings.' I think it was rushed and while I like what they did with some characters, I didn't like what they did with others. The overall 'feel' of the episode felt too dark in comparison to the rest of the series. I think they had been gradually trying to darken and mature the stories but I still think there was too big a gap. Definitely had some heart poured into it though so I give it points for that

Turtles Forever is a great ending for the 2k3 series though not for the FW series. While it's not perfect and I do have my issues with it, it really was a great special.

Turtles Forever is a follow-up film. Not a series finale.

It was produced immediately after BttS by the exact same creative team. It even aired as 3 individual episodes not long after the "movie premiere".
