TV Episodes That Should Have Been Their Last

I stumbled on an old facebook post I made last year where I complied a list of episodes that I felt were strong enough to serve as a finale to the series, regardless of loose ends not being tied up and sometimes because loose ends were tied up, but we got more anyway.

My list was the following:

-Sliders: "Post-Traumatic Slide-Syndrome"
-Knight Rider: "The Scent of Roses"
-Airwolf: "Moffat's Ghost"
-Buffy The Vampire Slayer: "Restless" or "The Gift"
-Spider-Man: The Animated Series: "The Wedding"
-X-Men: The Animated Series: "Beyond Good and Evil Parts 1-4"
-Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future: "New Order Parts 1-2"
-Captain Planet and the Planeteers: "Summit to Save Earth Parts 1-2"
-M.A.S.K: "Assault on Liberty" or "Eyes of the Skull"
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003): "Exodus Parts 1-2"

After finding I had recorded it back in November...the A-Team's fourth season finale "The Sound of Thunder". It doesn't result in the team clearing their names, but it does return the group to Vietnam, they team up with their military nemesis to save his daughter, and in a break from convention, the episode actually does kill someone off.

Alternatively, the first three episodes of the final season work as a finale as it ties up the court martial, though they would now have to work for the government in order to be pardoned (they got fed up waiting and returned to being outlaws in the actual finale)

The third season finale of Fred Wolf Era Ninja Turtles (The "Big" Trilogy), it was arguably the show at it's peak and the last proper finale for a long time as the Technodrome wouldn't' become a major threat again until the end of season seven

Jackie Chan Adventures had some slightly weaker seasons after mid-way through the second, to the point I was really wishing "Demon's World" had been the finale (as a matter of fact, my VHS collection of the second season cuts off at this point and completely skips the fillers)

On the "Smallville" front, I'd pick "Rosetta"
