The "Hero Turtles" UK edit of the classic series

With so much tmnt content being
available on streaming, youtube or other sites like kisscartoon

how come there's not many episodes available of the British "Hero turtles" edit

there's a few swedish copies online, but the rest is probably just on VHS

I was just thinking, since other "edited" versions of cartoons like Sailor Moon's DiC/Cloverway edit are online and easy to access, why isn't the hero turtles?

Why bother uploading them, when the uncut version are already aviable?

At least, the British Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles introduction song is aviable.

The Swedish ones were dubbed, and some people want to hear the same voice actors they heard as children.

Because it's like the DiC version of Sailor Moon, while it was slightly butchered, it's still part of animation history

I've heard that that they restructured the red sky seasons too,
turning it into a tv movie format or something

Correct, the first five episodes of season ten were turned into a feature length version that played throughout the 90s, and has never been commercially released at least to my knowledge. I recorded it at the time, but the tape is long lost.

The cartoon was released to VHS in the United Kingdom by Tempo Video during the early 1990's. Why wouldn't that be called a commercial release.

The YouTube channel Pomelo Retro Extra (which I think is now deleted) uploaded a number of the VHS tapes for Hero Turtles (with other countries dubs too)

I’m shocked the show still was airing that long in the UK! What channel was the movie on?

Around 1996 and late 1999 it aired on Fox Kids (in the UK and most of Europe, FK wasn't a Saturday morning block, it was a whole channel)

I also remember recording some season five/red sky era episodes on the BRAVO channel in 1999/2000
