Tom King confirmed on a podcast that Batman/Catwoman will be a direct sequel to Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, which is now considered official canon.

Batman#75 could not even crack the top ten for July in the marketshare results for that month

Batman really wants a pop in sales. I prefer Detective Comics personally. The Deadshot plane hold up was well done and the Clooney giving Fox acting lessons joke was great.

Spoiler:
Doubt this is actually sticking, Alfred is still alive in Doomsday Clock, and an interview came out today with Snyder and Tynion that indicates the books are still building to that

I haven't been reading Wonder Woman since the first Rebirth issues turned me off.

Has Wilson's run been any good?

The WW book has been pretty consistent and fun despite having the most amount of creative turnovers since Rebirth began. About the only real blip was James Robinson's storyline with Diana's brother Jason but that wasn't that bad either.

I think I enjoy it largely because Diana has been left well enough alone while all the other books have been tampered with.

Have you been following any of the other main series? I read a lot of the Superman comics right out of Rebirth, but... I can't even remember when I stopped.

The Eradicator stuff with Lois and Jon was fun, the other Clark Kent mystery was cool... that's about all I remember now.

What about Detective Comics? Its been solid since Robinson and Tomasi took over the title at #988. I am more interested to see how Nora will play out and hoping it will be better than Lazura.

At one point I was following about seven or eight books when Rebirth started, now that's steadily dropped to about three as far as financially supporting them. I still keep up to date on developments of the books I dropped, I just don't buy the books.

Superman eventually became the latest casualty. Not a big fan of what Bendis is doing to Jon and Lois (aging Jon up and making him a Legionnaire, Lois spending time away from Clark to focus on her journalism but still trying to have a steady marriage etc), I still enjoy bits of the book though, the art from Ivan Reis is fantastic. Action Comics on the other hand is a sluggish, bleak looking book, with street level drama that just doesn't appeal to me, and yet all the edgelord fans insist it's the better title.

Twists and turns of today's Doomsday Clock

Spoiler:
It's revealed Mime and Marionette's son was adopted by Owl Man and Silk Spectre, pre-flashpoint Saturn Girl was erased from the timeline Thanos snap-style, Lex has been tracking down Doctor Manhattan for years and was present at the Rebirth reunion of Barry and Wally...he is now aware he and Superman have lived multiple versions of their lives and he aims to break the loop. Superman recovers and tries to save Trump from Black Adam, but eventually catches sight of Manhattan

I have no idea who DC were aiming the ending of Lois Lane#3 at...Japanese audiences maybe?

Spoiler:
Lois goes into her hotel room, takes most of her clothes off, opens the shower door and finds Jon in there washing himself

This theory connects the discrepancies presented in Justice League and Doomsday Clock. Reminds me of the Mockingbird and Society Luthor twist ahead of Infinite Crisis.

So where is The Riddler going now that Apex Lex has shown Eddie that he was growing in the wrong direction and is thankful for "the gift of noting". Are we going to get another unnecessary edgy Riddler revamp?

I enjoyed the Deadshot arc in Detective Comics. Only one thing though, since when did Lucius Fox know Bruce was Batman?

Looks like Nora will be revived with a super power only she will be a more powerful version of her husband, perhaps natural ice powers? Again it appears she will not be happy with Victor for her revival.

Anyone else following Detective Comics?

Following, but not reading. Just skimming the reviews and op eds.

In other news, Tim Drake finally comes up with his non Robin/RedRobin identity.

...

Drake. Way to go, Timmy. Great choice.

The only bigger victim of Damien Wayne than my favorite nobody villain is Tim Drake who has lost his way. Dick was like that for awhile too between the Donna Troy wedding and KnightsEnd he was stagnant in New Teen Titans aside from Lonley Place of Dying that had no real follow up. Perhaps Tim's moment of the "what do we do with this character now?" from the previous direction in Detective Comics has finally come to fruition or not? Not a fan of the character, but like all Robins he has lost his way in DC editorial not knowing what to do with him.

I am curious if this Mr. Freeze story will come to anything interesting or if it will be a retread of Lazaura. Bat Villains deserve a happy ending. At least a couple of them. Catwoman can marry Batman, Two Face can be an insider and take on Matches Malone identity, Mr. Freeze can have his wife back even if he himself is not cured she is. It might take an A-lister off the lineup in one way, but Batman's enemies has the biggest depth.
