Mostly due to the return of the 80s tmnt and the original VAs no doubt. It just might win on nostalgia factor alone if adventure time doesn't.

This makes me happy. Late winter and early spring 2016 was a difficult time in my life and hearing those classic voices again really brought me joy when I needed it.

No recognition for the excellent and consistent Season 1.
No recognition for the amazing and breathtaking episodes of Season 2. No recognition for the admittedly really great episodes of Season 3. But recognition for an episode based completely off nostalgia in a season that really doesn't deserve any award at all? This is why the Annies are a joke.

I have to agree with Aaronardo. That is not the best episode of the series, it's not even the best episode of the season. It was a fun little episode obviously not to have been taken seriously but that clearly is not a recipe for recognition or an award. I may not be part of the Adventure Time hype nor do I watch the other shows mentioned outside TMNT but I don't think it'd be fair for this episode to win.

Sorry Shark but this episode winning the award would not be fair. I forgot to mention that the season isn't even over yet and even then it's not the best episode of the series nor season. I'd give it to Adventure Time's episode b/c even though I haven't seen it nor any of the other episodes mentioned, AT has the best reputation out of all of them...so surely Bad Jubies can't be so bad right?
