Good episode today.

Spoiler:
So FOWL didn't want the sword, it was all a distraction to get someone's feather, possibly Scrooge's or maybe Webby's

I hope they don't use this feather for cloning purposes, I hate stories involving clones and are used to get someone the blame ect.

New pics for next weeks episode, New Gods on the Block.

If we are in fact going to get a Darkwing Duck reboot series, it'll be very clever that Launchpad will spend his days in Duckberg and evenings with Darkwing Duck and Gosalyn. If Chris Diamantopoulos will be Darkwing Duck full-time though it will take some time for me to get adjusted too since I love Jim Cummings' portrayal. At least he will likely be Negaduck in that show.
I gotta say, I think Diamantopoulos nails the vocal cadence of Cummings' original Darkwing/Drake very well.

Sucks but figured that was the case a few months back when a bunch of the crew moved to other shows.

I'm curious if they knew S3 would be the final one when they started production on it.

The low ratings had more to do with a move to a different Disney channel. The overall reception to this show has been overwhelmingly positive, both from new fans and the ever-hard-to-please purists of either the Carl Banks or 80s cartoon versions.

Doesn't the show have over 70 episodes? That's a very good run for a cartoon, it's not like it got canceled after one season. I'm not sure what people expected, not every show needs to go on for 200 episodes like Spongebob or Family Guy

Ratings? Well when you dump a show exclusively to "Disney XD" or whatever...

I always thought toy/merchandise sales were the true determination of an all-ages cartoon's viability these days.

Sad it's ending but not surprised because we only have 6 episodes to go and if there were a season 4 then it would of been announced before season 3 started.

Its officially done

Also Disney's response to comicbook.com

Quote:
Disney has confirmed to ComicBook.com that the show's "physical production has wrapped." While the company did not explicitly say anything about Season 4 or even utter the word "cancelled," it does appear to be done.

"The talented creative team, led by Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones, have delivered exceptional storytelling with uniquely reimagined characters for three seasons of 75 episodes and more than 15 shorts," a statement provided to ComicBook.com by a Disney spokesperson reads. "While physical production is wrapping, 'DuckTales' continues to be available daily on Disney Channels and Disney+ around the world and fans will get an epic season finale in 2021.”

A show gets 70+ episodes and people are throwing rage fits that it's canceled? I cannot understand that at all, the show had a long and healthy run and 70+ eps is longer than most shows of my childhood lasted.

I have no idea what these people want. Not every show needs to go on for 100+ episodes.

It happens with every show that's ending or is cancelled.

That's my question. Is it 'cancelled' or has the show run its course? Kinda like TMNT 2012, I honestly don't see what else they could have done anymore. That one ran its course.

Frank posted this, so it looks like they only planned 3 seasons, so it's finishing not cancelled.

Disney shows only last 3 or 4 seasons anyway.

Sucks that the show is ending, but I suppose it had a good run. Still feels like it's ending too soon, though. Feels like they could get more out of it and they really haven't done much with Della yet since her return to the family.
