Depends on the livestock and how "big" we want it. Steers for the butcher often go between 1 1/2 to 2 yrs, while milk cows don't get eaten until too old to produce- somewhere between 12-15 yrs. Some are used strictly for breeding, and not sold for food until they can no longer breed, again between 12-15. Pigs can be 4-5 before eaten, sheep about a year or so, unless raised mainly fo wool, then not until old. It's useful to have parents raising cattle. Learn a lot about the industry....

Um...anyway...
Has anyone ever wondered why when creating a "mutant duo", the Foot never considers a native animal from within NYC? They go through all that trouble trying to steal a rhino and a hippo from a zoo, or somehow getting a hammerhead shark offpage and a conveniently around falcon, or just happening to stop and pat a dog. Why not just...grab an opossum or raccoon out of a trashcan and use that? I mean, all things considered, that would be a pretty cool pairing. "Haha a possum what are you going to do play dead - OH NO I FORGOT THE TEETH!"

They've swum in the sewers, but...yeah, probably not very long. Ick.
Lockjaw here we come. Another thing I've wondered is why April's parents decided to name her what she was. I like to think that they struggled through the pregnancy on what to name their baby - due in April. And they named her that, not because it happened to be April, but because they saw it written down on the birth certificate and panicked while being asked what they wanted to name her when she was born.

April, May and to a lesser extent June are used as girl names.

I mostly just think it would be a sweet story from April's family life, since it's not really something that's discussed a lot.

Nope. Kind of less common now though. Mostly it's older people of my age group, I don't think I've seen any kids with that name for a long time. But it was more commonly in use back when the TMNT were created. (And, going back just prior to that period, I have a cousin named that, just two years older than me.)

June, really? There's girls/women named June? had no idea.
I think I've heard of women being named Autumn too, btw. But I believe Americans prefer the name Fall for that season. |

I'm pretty sure my brother dated someone named Autumn for a little while, but I'm not entirely sure .
Hard to keep track at this point...especially since his engagement fell apart last year.

I tend to use it interchangeably. Depends on which one comes out first.

I wish Blodgett had made at least one more appearance in the Fred Wolf series after his debut in "The Evil Eye"... maybe he could have even become the alter-ego of "Bugman" with a little creative editorial tweaks.

What if Michelangelo's catchphrase was Hallelujah? Its cute, funny and sounds similar to Cowabunga.

I don't really know that cheapening a word with religious significance is the way to go, when it comes to catch phrases.
