The song speed me up is not bad at all, definitely feels very Sega of America Sonic inspired and it's great. SoA Sonic's attitude was what made him so cool.

The movie is trending to do fairly well and might be able to outdo Detective Pikachu, many months earlier in this same thread when I suggested this could do almost as well as Detective Pikachu I got called crazy, but not so crazy anymore now am I?

Seeing this giant poster while driving from work is really wonderful, brings me back. Sonic and Jim Carey? This reeks of the 90s, hell it feels like it could've been a movie that came out in the 90s when both Sonic and Jim Carey were in their prime fame.

TY Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa worked on this song. They worked on the Shell Shocked song for the 2014 TMNT Movie.

Nice song but it clearly mentions Tails. Why is nobody talking about that?

Doesn’t mean he’s in the movie but an end credits shot/cameo would not surprise me. They could have been friends when they were still kids. Before Sonic came to earth.

It's mostly aight, just too much of it is 'singing real fast in auto-tune can't understand what the **** they sayin'.

Also minor nitpick. This ain't Nintendo. You don't have to blow on the Genesis cartridges. I remember back in the day my friends were jumping up and down at the fact you could just pop the SEGA cartridge in and play it rather then spending 10 minutes blowing on the game and messing with it like you had to with the NES.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it but the video is all based on scenes from the movie. There’s no actual video game segments. Does that mean the Special Zones could be in the movie?

The Sonic 2 style one has street signs and donuts so that’s clearly a play on the movie itself but what about the sphere zone? He could briefly enter one while portal hopping.

Also he’s carrying a turtle. He could have a pet turtle or helps one because they’re too slow

The embargo is set to lift on February 12^th at 10:00 P.M. PST.

If they are setting it this late, then we KNOW that this film's gonna bomb. Overall, a bad reception, a terrible word-of-mouth, and an abysmal opening weekend could kill this movie franchise ( and by extension, Sonic himself ) for good.
