I read about this yesterday, being a big Chip n Dale fan was thinking awesome. My main concern is there will no doubt be real actors in a big role, I only hope they don't cast someone dreadful and make it really childish. Fingers crossed for Zipper Montey and Gadget!

I'm still on the fence about this. On the one hand, I love the show. However, I'm worried about the movie trying way too hard to pander to children. I guess I'll wait until I get more info on this project.

Oh gosh no! It's bad enough they are making my other favorite show Charlie Brown and Snoopy into something like this, I can only imagine what the fandom must be thinking of this news. Yes, that's right folks the Chip n Dale Rangers has a big loyal fandom following, out of any thing Darkwing Duck would have made the most sense. They kind of already did some thing like this for an episode when Darkwing Duck came into our world done in 2D animation, this time they'd bring in all our beloved characters from the series. They could have done Duck Tales better yet, oh wells.

I guess it will be better, since they are small you won't be able to do much with human characters like they did in other films like this. Than again, guess they could pull a Smurfs on us, though they did help solves cases for humans any ways in the series so, as long as they make it more about solving things and the characters from the show than ok.

Bet they give a little service to the fandom and add in Chip x Gadget moments, that's pretty popular along with FoxGlove x Dale. Tell me, are any of the VAs still a live today? I know FoxGloves VA died along time ago but how about the rest? Would love it if they returned for them in this flick but....

I'm worried, why can't they just give us a 2D flick like they originally wanted to do before the Duck Tales film bombed in the box office? That's all in the past and they are kind of brining back 2 D animation again

I think crude/disgust humor is more acceptable now than it was back then, and people wonder why society has less manners today than compared to the past. I always had a low tolerance for it because rather than making it a humorous and clumsy "everybody accidentally does it" situation (i.e. loud farts, burping), it's done nowadays in cartoons to such an extreme that it actually becomes more disgusting than humorous, and makes the character obnoxiously ill-mannered.

Yeah farting, pooping, and burping are more prevalent because they feel that it will elicit a laugh from the kids. I don't mind things like that if they're done right, but if it's done too much, then I get annoyed by it.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of when the series debuted. It's possible that Jim Cummings might've teased his involvement with the movie in this response to the film's anniversary or maybe he was referring to the upcoming Disney Afternoon crossover on Ducktales.

The movie is heading to Disney+. Production is expected to begin in Los Angeles in the spring of next year. Tress MacNeille, Corey Burton, and Jim Cummings are also all expected to reprise their roles. I really hope the latter is true.
