Batgirl gets a new costume woth issue #26 this August. I don't mind it except for the bat ears which look dumb.
https://www.polygon.com/platform/amp...stume-redesign Anyone know the answer to my Justice League question above?

Grotesque getting an upgrade to the sadistic side is fine, but I don't want to see what Batgirl devolved into after the 15th issue of the New 52 series. Being a series that I have invested in along with Hal Jordan centered Green Lantern series I am hoping for the best for both series new directions.

DC is trying to expand its market by reprinting random issues with one brand new story under Batman, Superman, Justice League and Teen Titans. Of note Bendis will tackle Batman in a storyline titled "Universe" which depicts Batman lead on a globe trotting mystery by The Riddler. It will appear in September's 3rd issue, the beginning of a 12 parter.
This format was used in 1973-early 1975 as a early form of reprinting old issues and the covers emulate the mid 70s' format. Interestingly, comic store owners are upset with the Wal-Mart exclusive so New York state shops arw going ro raid Wal-Mart stores outside of the state and resale them. https://www.bleedingcool.com/2018/06...e-anthologies/

I am only interested in the Batman 12 parter that Bendis is doing. Not the format and not for the writter. I am invested because of my favorite Batman villain and it being a globe trotter.
I was disappointed when reading the Batman Wedding prelude with Riddler vs Batgirl. Eddie stated he is a killer of innocents. I always saw The Riddler as a sane compulsive intellect. He only wants to kill Batman.

So much for comics taking risks. Way to keep that status quo intact, King!

Is anyone else confused about the overkill of sci-fi logic in the newest Justice League title? Seven ancient tribes, The Totality from the other side of the force wall, a Still Force, and Umbrex is the sun of a phantom universe which absorbs planets into its phantom universe, and why do Batman and Hawkgirl, Joker and Luthor need to shrink and go inside Superman and Martian Manhunter who should be in space suits? One bizarre concept is enough, but all of this is making my head spin not really grasping one before another pops up. I want to like this, but i don't really understand any of the above.

Dick Grayson to be shot in the head while on patrol with Bruce in Batman vol.3#54 fresh off his week subbing under the cowl. This plot is said to involve both Batgirl and this Heroes In Crisis mini-series. Not sure what to think other than DC especially under Didio knows what to do with Dick Grayson.

Brain-damaged amnesiac Dick Grayson confirmed. How delightful.

Also, another little note I picked up about Batman vol. 3#54, Dick Grayson as Robin mentions Bane. Has history changed and Bane appeared earlier in Batman's career? Of course Dick " Robin" Grayson faced Bane in other media in Batman: TAS and Batman & Robin, but not in the comics as the Knightfall events are what lead Dick to being reincorporated into the Bat Family. How would Knightfall work with just Dick and Barbara around?
