HAH, yeah, for you guys's sake. You guys think I'M nasty to people. Hah. HAH hah. Whooooo. I'm the nice one out of the two of us.
She joined once for about a week many years ago before leaving in disgust. She hates you all so much that sometimes I have to sneak around just to be on this website. "Oh my GOD, are you seriously talking to those morons again?" And that's me dumbing it down, she's nowhere near that nice about it (and uses much harsher terms than "morons" that I probably shouldn't repeat here). I catch less hell for looking at porn than I do for coming here. Then I remind her that her little "friends" in her various Facebook groups are hardly any better, and she drops it. But yeah, no, she wouldn't come here. Not willingly. Lucky for you's. She also hates women more than I do, anyway, though, so I don't think anything I've said here would be an issue. I generally refer to females as either "goofy hens" or "dizzy broads" because she thinks it's hilarious and encourages such behavior. She's quite the enabler. Also, regardless of all that, we've been together 20 years, so our mutual disdain for each other is hardly any secret. It is what it is. Past a certain age, people generally only stay together because rent is expensive. Most married people I know are in the "separate bedrooms, never see each other except passing through the kitchen" phase by now, so at least we're a little bit ahead. Anyways. Your display of false concern is much appreciated, friend.

I think an interesting idea would be to have Slash a a temporary 5th member of the team, who is later disowned by the other turtles and Splinter due to his villainous tendencies.
That way, we can experiment with the idea but then ultimately return to an established status quo of the franchise.

I always wondered which one Steve McMichael was.

The entire concept of a 5th turtle doesn't work at all for many reasons:
Casey Jones and April are close confidants and essentially members of the team. A 5th turtle crowds things. Venus was a terrible idea and her execution was awful in that old show. And Kirby didn't really work either. He looked far different than the 4 brothers and... Kirby doesn't fit with the Italian Renaissance names... Sorry, Kirby fans, one of these things IS NOT like the others. Slash works best as he is in the IDW version, a one-off villain turned Mutanimal turned ally. When he was sacrificed MY HEAD EXPLODED. As a 5th turtle (an actual member of the TMNT), no thanks! The turtles have so many supporting characters in allies and villains that it just makes things crowded... That said, I was falling in love with Jennika as a character, hoping they would flesh out the master-student relationship between her and Splinter and then I read issue #95. MY HEAD EXPLODED. Oh, oh, really? A 5th turtle? A girl turtle? Haha. Are they renaming her Venus? (thankfully NO). Does she work as a 5th turtle? Still remains to be seen. I preferred her as the ninja-apprentice. |
