The Flash tv series on CW

Gotta say, I really hope they actually call him The Flash. I know the teaser indicates thats going to be the case, but so did the teaser for Season 2 of Arrow and they still haven't called him by Green Arrow yet. Add in that on the newscast it says "RED STREAK SAVES" or something like that, and I'm worried.

Why does it seem like DC is embarrassed of their own characters? Between the Red-Blue Blur, The Vigilante/The Arrow, The Canary, and how extremely little they called Superman by his name in MoS, and how infrequently he was called Batman in the Nolan trilogy... anyone else just annoyed?
