Yeah, it sounds too interesting a plot point for this movie. Would be happily surprised if it turned out that way though.

I find it more believable than a new take on MJ, though...

Vulture having a daughter was a plan for Spider-Man IV at one point, so it does have grounding in existing truth

So much for a new character possibly, I guess.
Gotta wait until the movie's released before I say anything though.

Just a lot of contempt for the writers. I thought Marvel had gotten over its "change characters for the hell of it" phase in Iron Man 3.

I wonder how much of it was changed during shooting due to the backlash...

They always get good reviews...then there's buyer's remorse months afterwards.

I'm seeing reviews about "other Marvel characters show up" in this. Marvel characters other than Tony, Hogan, and Cap in his infomercial?

Spiderman Homecoming is at 93%:
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/spider_man_homecoming/ Goddamn. Wonder Woman is at 92%, so this is even better than Wonder Woman? |

All seriousness, I see this film landing somewhere in the mid 80s by the time reviews are done at the most. 85% seems fair.
