Given the show is supposed to start in the Fall, I assume September, that's only 2 months from now, so I do wonder if the marketing force for this show will start to heat up very soon.

Nearly every incarnation of the turtles faces loss on the regular. Either through stalemate, tactical retreat, or utter defeat in battle. So I dunno, to use this as a line of promotion feels disingenuous. Or like the person who wrote this has never watched a turtles cartoon before.

Only thing that I slightly laughed at was Donnie's line about jeopardizing their friend an family discount.

Then going over traits about them at the end and it's all skills related...except Leo. Unless you're dumb enough to count knowing when to give a one liner as a skill. Oh my boy, what have they done to you. Even tried to apply strategy to Raph as well. Ugh. But trying to emphasize Raph's position so in your face just also feels like they're setting him up to be thrown under the bus hard for drama/plot sake... More ugh.

I hope these "motion comics" aren't the entirety of the tie-in comics that were mentioned... If so, omg... what the hell.

If this comic is even remotely like the actual show, Leo replacing Raph as leader is pretty much confirmed. I mean it's obvious, right? He asks for a device he doesn't know how to use, he hurts himself trying to use it, blames someone else for his own mistake, prioritise getting a pizza before stopping the villain and everyone admits that he never knows what he's doing.

The only way they could make it more clear, is if he wore a shirt that said "Worst Boss Ever".

I think people are reading too much into Raph's actions. Just because he is hotheaded at the start and makes mistakes as a leader, doesn't mean he will always be that way and result in him stepping down in favour of Leo.

Past versions of Leo also made quite a few mistakes as leader, and they improved later on. Not any different with Raph, but people are admittedly so used to Leonardo being the leader that its become the default expectation for any version.

I think its more to do with the lighearted and humorous tone than trying to show that its time for Raph to step down (and that so early on).
