Im kinda disappointed they didnt have the lead from VR Troopers be the Gold Ranger physically, he was the voice over actor, though.

Even when they hired Brad Hawkins to do the voice, they hadn't quite yet figured out just what they wanted to do with the Gold Ranger.

and ruined Goldar in the process. Like seriously, I can understand why making Scorpina disappear for no reason, but did Squatt and Baboon's suit just fall apart or something? I can't remember if they did anything after season 1.

Didn't Baboo and Squatt disappear after the Zeo premire? I remember Finster stuck with Zedd and Rita. Perhaps it was because the character and Zedd shared the same voice actor? Having two sets of villians and knowing how cheap Saban is it possible the voice and suit actors got cut due to budget.

As advertised as King Sphinx was,due to his episode footage being in the first pilot,they would have shelled out a little bit to restore the costume's body.

They basically did disappear after Rita and Zedd fled to Master Vile. However, Squatt could be seen with Zedd and Rita's group in "Countdown to Destruction".

Two new Ninja Steel episodes premiere tomorrow. After that, is The Loud House, where possibly during commercial breaks, there will be a behind-the-scenes thing for the Power Rangers movie.

Like Goldar originally, Zedd kept them around for comic relief and all they really did was cheer or jeer in the background. However, Zedd did use them on three occasions:

1. to help Goldar train Kimberly to be Zedd's new queen in "Beauty and the Beast"

2. again to help Goldar guard the captured peace ambassadors in "A Monster of Global Proportions"

3. to activate the sleep machine in "The Power Transfer Part 1' to prevent Zordon from choosing replacements for Jason, Trini and Zack.

Honestly, they did more in the field once Rita returned than just with Zedd.

Zedd was only menacing like the first 4 episodes or so, he quickly became nonthreatening, hypocritical and even more useless than Rita in her prime. He would just "act tough" in dialog but would get annihilated episode after epiosode. His episodes are just so boring since he only has Goldar to interact with. When Rita comes back so do all the other space aliens and we get to see him have more of a personality and even a little more successful with his plans even if he is "less" menacing.

I caught the behind-the-scenes commercial. I was shocked to see the actors were actually in their Power Ranger suits. I thought the suits were all CGI like RDJ does with Iron Man.
