Baron Draxum vs Lord Dregg
Since I have seen these two villains compared to each other so often by fans because of their similarities, I could not help but wonder which one people prefer in general (as the "replacement for Shredder villain" in the cartoons).
Here, I am talking about Lord Dregg from the 80s cartoon. Both have pretty epic deep guy voices, but I have to give the edge to Tony Jay's Dregg for sounding more menacing. Baron just has more of a personality though, and he also has a funny side to him which I really like. He also has a connection to the turtles and Splinter's origin, which makes him all the more interesting for me, whereas Lord Dregg just pretty much comes out of nowhere. And who could forget the musical involving Baron's evil league of mutants? If there is one thing I wish we could see Baron do though, it is becoming progressively more irritated and angry with the turtles as the show goes on, just like how Lord Dregg did during the Red Sky seasons. Perhaps he could also turn humanity against the turtles while he's at it? So while Dregg may have a more defined arc across his 16 episodes, I will say I like Baron much more for all of his little quirks adding up, and the promise he has for future episodes of Rise.

I wouldn't consider either one of them especially good villains, but Draxum does have a more defined motivation and is far more expressive.

Voted Dregg by default as I don't know the other guy.

Going with Dregg on this one. I wish that he was written better as an antagonist for the Turtles, but Rise of The TMNT isn't grabbing me. So, I cannot say much for Baron Draxum.
