I definitely need to get this comic book over the weekend. This is a team-up that die-hard fans of both franchises have been waiting for a long time.

It's reboot time!

Quote:
It’s Morphin time for Jonathan Entwistle

The filmmaker, perhaps best known for creating Netflix series The End of the F---ing World, is taking on Power Rangers, a new version of the colorful family adventure franchise, this time set up at Paramount Pictures.

Rangers was a ’90s TV series and global marketing franchise, initially called The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, that used footage from a Japanese children’s show. The premise involved a group of kids who become superheroes, each with his or her own color-coordinated outfit and matching helmet. The show first aired on Fox Kids, then in the 2000s on Disney-owned channels. A movie also hit theaters in 1995.

Lionsgate produced and released a feature in 2017 that rebooted the title, making it less kid-friendly and giving it a more brooding YA edge. The movie bombed, grossing only $142 million worldwide on a budget of around $100 million, and plans for a series of films scrapped.

Now in Paramount’s court, Rangers is getting rebooted once more, in a way that hopes to bring the franchise to its roots. The story is said to involve a time-travel element that brings the kids to the 1990s, and in Back to the Future fashion, they have to find a way to get back to their present. Patrick Burleigh, who wrote the upcoming Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, is penning the script.

Here's what Jason Faunt from that season had to say about that.

It seems rather a long-time to sentence someone. Or is that normal for the American legal system?

He is pleading insanity and there is an evaluation period which is given before trial to determine competence and where he will be sentenced mental hospital or prison let alone sentencing. There is also the appeals process to consider. So yes, it is not unusual unless its a plain and simple guilty plea it can really drag out.

Andre Meadows AKA Black Nerd has responded to the news of a reboot the start of it, he still blames Beauty and the Beast from stealing the majority of the 2017's film's audience.

Details on the late Pua Magasiva have come out...and, yeah, it's not a pleasant story, prior to his death, he had been charged with abusing his wife

Rumour: We're going with another dino-themed season for PR in 2021, as Hasbro might adapt Ryusoulger

Dinosaur theme again? I mean I knew it was coming, Hasbro wouldn't pass it but I was really hoping we'd get that Lupinranger vs patranranger or Kyuranger. That new dinosaur theme looks awful and I love dinosaurs. It seems too soon since Dino Charge.

In reference to the crossover mini series with TMNT, can anyone who hold a morpher activate it or can anyone morph? If so why not have the villains grabs the belt buckle morpher to demorph them or in Return of An Old Friend have Rita's minions use the coins? Talk at the LCS said that Time Force was the only one that brought this up.

I thought I would share with you all my favorite new toy. This is a custom made heroclix game piece. The seller does several customs and had a handful of different MMPR Green Ranger. There was also a set of 7 MMPRs. I could resist adding one of the MMPR greens to what I have. Do any of you know the basis of the figure?
