So, apparently transformers sites are reporting TFU: Bumblebee is going to start filming next week.

....

I don't know what to think. I'm hoping- praying- that there is still time for a course correct. The whole world- including China!- has rejected the stupid that these movies have been over the past decade. I'm really, really hoping- even if they have to keep the same designs. I'm hoping there was a little less cobbled together junk-bot design for bumblebee since his solo movie is set in the 1980's, and they have enough time to sever the ties to Bay's universe before release, because if this has Bay and Bonaventura's fingerprints on it, this movie is D.O.A.

Continue praying because, even if its being directed by somebody else, Michael Bay will still have his hands on it.

If that is the case, then that will be the last transformers film for a long time, period. People will NOT pay to go see Bay transformers again, the well has been too poisoned.

After the absolutely dreadful TF4 film, I think I'm completely drained and lost interest for this new one. I read that it's even more awful than ever before.

Akiva Goldsman is no longer involved with Transformers, and the Writer's Room has been abandoned, so I guess its back to the drawing board.

Bumping this because apparently a group of fans are actually trying to create sequels to the Bayformer movies that try to tie up the loose ends left by The Last Knight.

Originally it was just going to be one movie, but it's been expanded to include a second
